...and not just points, but how many times did the Charges special teams put the defense in poor position.

Eh. People are overrating him here. He was good, but he had our LB/DL/DB coaches to work with. Chargers weren't exactly that good on D when Cottrell was on board and Rivera was LB coach.

Come on people, get a grip. He's not as good as everyone make him out to be. Let's see how he fares with Carolina. Fox couldn't do it and to them, he was a defensive genius.

ya know man, its not in the grammar either. It's the ideals of most of them, whether its making up their own ideas of what a player is like or if so and so is a bust. It's frustrating and Im guessing most of the more rational just remain quiet.

No matter how much they liked him or disliked him, their opinions are about Rivera as a DC, not a HC. I hope he's a great one, and he is saying what we all want to hear, but there is no substitute for results. Show me.
