Denver may want to trade up for Fairly

All the boards are predicting the Broncos trading up to get Fairley which would feel a large void. They are also saying Orton wants out if he will be playing behind Tebo. That would work fo me.

Our #1 pick to Denver. We get Orton, their first and 2nd round pick sounds good to me :D

My brother is a Denver fan and he's been salivating at the chances of getting Fairley. Their DT position is lacking as well.

I wouldn't mind trading down, and then maybe seeing if we could trade down with Cinci to stock up some more picks. It all comes down to the info we have by the day of the draft though, so that can change

no way don't trade the #1 pick and lose a beast in fairely we need that postion filled he can come in and be an impact player from the start. sure we could get more picks but why would u want more picks when u can get a beast we have no good DT right now that can stop the run maybe thats becasue of the coaching or not but I say FAIRELY WILL BE NUMBER ONE PICK BY THE PANTHERS

trade down with Denver for Orton, take Green at #2. that is an excellent draft.

why trade down yet again to stockpile low round picks for mediocre talent? you timid bro?

Agree.

Every team needs role players, but they need 2-3 stars on each side of the ball. Who are our stars?

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
