So today in my philosophy class we were watching a move called sailor overboard from 1953...It was about a ship wrecked crew of 26 people with one captain stranded on 1 life boat that was only meant for 9! So 5 people were treading water by the boat hanging on because they couldn't fit... (one of them happens to be black) Well later in the movie they find that someone was hiding a dog on the boat. The black guy sees the dog and yells "get that mutt out of the boat and let me in!" My teacher pauses the movie and asks if you were the captain what would you do? This fat ass bitch in the back raises her hand and says black people are worthless keep the dog. So i raise my hand and just rip this lady apart, and am basically drilling it in her head that a comment like that is ludicrous in this day and age, and that to value a dog more then a human life is disturbing. So no lie 4 people in the class start shouting at me saying how could you kill the dog and that there's something wrong with me...People, are we that fuged up in this day and age to value a 4 legged mut over a human? I brought up Michael Vick, and defended him yes defended him! I said "In other countries cows are worshiped, and to eat a cow is dreadful. But telling by your looks you don't hold back from eating beef do you? Look at Vick he was prosecuted for two years for killing dogs when he was raised to look at them as fighters. That's like you living in a country where you eat chickens but then move to a country where there worshiped...how do you adapt? Its rediculous how animal lovers look at there pets sometimes, and I own two dogs...I love em with all I got, but in no way would I let a human die in an emergency situation over that dog. Who's to say who's right or wrong when coming to animals? Some look at dogs as there only children, good for you...I look at them as a pet, and by that I mean something to love and pet...That's where the word came from. You cant value a human life less then an animal. Vick to me has a clean slate, and should have no moral setbacks because other countries look at us like Vick but with there worshiped cultures... so who's to say who's right? Welcome to America where at least you know your ignorant...

Every living thing on earth, including humans, are animals and there is a food chain all of us adhere by in order to survive. We are equal. Wild animals kill other wild animals out of survival. They don't just kill out of enjoyment. They have no purpose for it. We however do. And that is very unnatural and cruel. No matter where it takes place on Earth. So to answer the question who should be on the boat...the person should choose whoever they feel closest with. Man or beast. Not for anyone else to decide.

Sorry Peppermint but you probably posted this in the wrong forum. Half of the posters in here really do not like the human race very much (except their closest loved ones) because they focus more on the negative things they see all of us do.

I see it more your way but I will admit that if it wasn't for the teachings of Jesus Christ I would be be very inclined to side with them. For many people, the glass just looks half empty most of the time.

      Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy

      Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
