Last year's QB slide this year?

I could definitely see one of the top rated qbs (Locker, Mallett, Gabbert) sliding, but not Newton. They may not be picked in the first but there is no way Newton falls that far. There a ton of teams that are in the need for a franchise qb and Newton's potential is worth a mid-second rounder to many teams. Hell teams that even have an established but older qb now, may take a chance on him to let him develop for a couple of years.....say the Eagles if they can trade Kolb for someone's second

If The Golden Calf of Bristol can go as early as he did, anything can happen.

But on topic, I'll pass on Cam no matter what round.

I love Olivia in almost all of her exploitative pictures but that one just looks gross. look at her lack of a tight on her right leg :( she looks a bit tooo skinny for me. On the other hand:

leave me caring little about what I just said.

All depends on workouts from here out. Assuming everyone stays healthy, I can't see Newton fall lower than low first round. Someone will take a chance on him, and I wouldn't be surprised to him go in the 15-20 range. Currently everyone is talking about Gabbert as a top 10 pick. The only one who might fall is Mallet, since their are some red flags involving character with him. But he should be gone in the 2nd at the least.

After watching BJ Raji for the Packers dominate yesterdays game, Im sold on drafting Fairley first. If Cam Newton falls to the 3rd, no doubt you get him, but its not happening. I could see us trading up to the 2nd and grabbing him or another QB if they fall, but for some reason, I see this team building up the defense through the draft. I know the offense needs help, but I see us building our D through the draft, and then signing a Vincent Jackson and Kevin Boss(while resigning Williams and Kalil) on offense. That would the route I go as well. Offense doesnt need any more young guys, it needs vets we can count on.

Dream draft for me would start with Fairley..Austin falling to the 3rd round and us getting him, and then drafting BPA for the defense there on out.

As I said above, then resigning every one of our big FA's, getting Vincent Jackson, Kevin Boss and a vet QB like Billy Volek to help out Jimmy.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
