Dolphins targeting DWill

If Goodson can get his fumbling problem fixed, he can easily turn into a premiere all purpose back in the league. I like to think of the guy as Mashall Faulk lite (which may be a bit of a stretch at the moment). He is the epitome of a change of pace back that has the speed to take it to the house on any given play.

Why does everyone try to sleep on any RB besides D. Will? Like I said, I love D. Will (I have the man's jersey), but he is just not worth overpaying in light of what we have running behind him. He has his injury problems and he is 28. Like it or not, historical evidence shows (i.e., the stats that some of you love) that even most elite backs hit a wall at 30.

J-Stew is not going anywhere. Goodson and Sutton---regardless of what some say---help to move the chains very effectively.

Would I like to have D. Will? Hell yeah! But only if the price is right. Truth be told, Williams should have probably been traded before the deadline (and, I'm sure he wouldn't mind being in Green Bay right now).

fug yea and letting Moose walk a long time ago cause we had Kerry Colbert was a great idea!!!!111!

Colbert had shown promise his rookie season, and we still had Smitty and Proehl. So yes, it was a good idea at the time.

And even if Colbert had literally imploded and littered BoA with blood and entrails his rookie season, Moose wasn't worth the contract Chicago gave him. If you don't believe me, ask any Bears fan.

Now please move on to your next nonsensical comparison so that I can rip it apart too.

I say we should keep DeAngelo, but if we can't, we need to definitely trade him. Maybe Greenbay would still want him, I would trade with them for Nelson and a draft pick. (Of course if we could just get Nelson, that would be just as great, he definitely has the potential to be the number two receiver here.)

I have confidence that we will keep him, he's the best running back we have when it comes to consistency and break away yardage. Honestly I would trade Goodson for some value, and sign Williams to a good contract.

LT is a shell of what he use to be. The past 2 seasons he has played in 34 games.......he has 1 100 yard game. That is what one of the greatest RBs of alltime has done since hitting the 30 yr mark. Williams is approaching that 30 yr mark and not worth pumping big bucks into when you got a stacked backfield.

But lt took over the starting spot from green.he might have had only one 100 yard game but he gave the jets that running game they needed at one time of the year.

Everybody keep talking about the back field is stacked? Certainly not stacked with all pro rb's. Keep D will. If Stewart gets hurt early and d lo is gone then you will be butt hurt we didnt keep him.

Can't move toward the future while worrying about the "what ifs".

We are stacked at RB compared to most other teams. Stewart is beastly. Goodson is speedy and averaged over 100 yards a game in his 3 starts last season. 150+ total yards against the Ravens and Sutton has given us no real reason to worry about his ability to be the 3rd string rb, either way.

    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
