Has Nick Fairley distanced himself from the rest of the DTs in this year's draft to warrant a #1 pick? If not, what are the prospects for the Panthers to trade down and get compensatory picks for another DT (ie - Marcell Darius of Alabama) available further down in the 1st?

Has Rivera given any indications of working with Clausen in the offseason outside of handing him a playbook?

Has there been any talk from teammates regarding a real/perceived tension between Clausen and Steve Smith?

How do you expect the draft to be different with this coach? How much influence did the HC have in the draft/

I wish I knew the answer to that one. Heck, I still wonder if the Panthers passed on Rob Ryan because his personality is too strong and he wouldn't stand by and let the GM tell him which players to draft.

That's a great question, but good luck getting an honest answer.

Is the 4th round too early to draft that kicker from Nebraska?

If not, could he envision a scenario where we keep Kasay and him for next season before letting Kasay retire a Panther following 2011-2012 season?

Teams let QB's sit and learn from a vet, why not do it with a Kicker considering we need a kickoff specialist anyway.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
