Heck Morgan Geekie who was our 3rd rounder is now a 30 goal center man...

 

Canes are very good at identifying talent....

 

That said given you almost never see NHL talent immediately there isnt much hype with the draft.

Just about every mock I've seen has us taking Cullen Potter which wouldnt shock me he's very much a Canes type prospects smaller fastest skater in the draft playmaker skills

I'd be surprised if they made the draft pick, I'm honestly expecting it to get traded.

Man they are dragging this draft out for tv with all these talking heads. Gonna be hours before the Canes pick at this rate.
