Probably not. But im not gonna give the billion dollar corporations the benefit of the doubt here. fug em.

They should be able to watch the weather over the course of a week and make an educated decision. I have to do it in my line of work for logistics.

It's not just the corporations. Look at all the resources that go into planning for the traffic, etc. To snap your fingers at the last minute and bump a major D1 football game up a few hours is simple to say but it's a logistical nightmare. And predicting scattered thunderstorms a week out? I mean, we all watch the weather. Weather predictions a week out is like planning your finances around scratch off lottery tickets.

I assume the big reason they would be hesitant to flex for weather is less about the teams being able to pull it off and the TV/broadcast/money stuff coming into play

It's just overall a massive pain in the ass  for something that may or may not happen. You see games rescheduled for hurricanes. You don't see games rescheduled for scattered thunderstorms. It's a lot better to maybe deal with the possibility of an hour or two delay than it is to move the entire operation due to the chance of scattered thunderstorms. It's just part of the deal playing outdoors in the early part of the season. We only have a couple more weeks with it being a major issue.

Sour grapes? Bro, I’m the guy that was just arguing King is THE best QB in the ACC the other week.  You straight up manifesting something here lol.

I merely said they need King to stay on field and healthy….and that is something to question if you talking about a GT run.   Because he gets hurt.  A lot.

I’ll take GT over any team in the ACC if King is ready to rock and roll.  He is the best player.

Let me slightly reword that, King is the best QB and therefore the most impactful player.   I would not go so far as the claim he is the best player in the ACC.

huge King fan.  He is exactly what I would want as my college QB.  Total different wants for my pro team but he is college football to me

Yeah, he's a perfect college QB and big part of that is him being a highly effective QB who doesn't have the skill set that NFL teams clamor for so you don't have to worry about him going pro early. You're going to get all four years out of a guy like that.
