MLB Devin Lloyd for WR Jalen Coker??

Recommended Posts

Uh... Corey Brown was huge in our 2015 SB run. Made some monster playoff catches.

TMJ, Gettis, Drew Carter, Mingo, Dwayne Jarrett, Ryne Robinson, Kealoha Pilares, Shi Smith, and Joe Adams could never be on Philly Brown's level

Context is so complicated for you. Keep that same energy during the season and once it's finished.

What "context" do you speak of? The context I'm speaking of is that outside of Theilen Coker was our most effective WR last year. Do you disagree with that?

The secondary context I was speaking of is just like most PFF d riders, it magically only matters when it fits your preferred narrative. When it doesn't, then all of a sudden there's some other "context" or something or the other that needs to come into play. LOL

We don't know.

You're the one acting like a LB that the second worst defense in the league is ready to move on from is ready to pick up carry the torch of Mills, Morgan, Beason, Luke, TD, etc. All the while acting like the folks saying "nah" are the crazy ones.

Cokeheads don't know if he will be active on gamedays!!

Im 100% certain Lloyd will be!

I rest my case your honor!!

Quit with your logic,  sir!!

We'll have none of that in here!!

He would be active for the jags on game days and be the #2-3.

Here on the deep Panthers, he would not.

Cokerheads please apply you yourself.

Because Philly had that narrow ass! I like my WR's opposite of how I like my women!!

I'm not to sure it's a solid argument to try to estimate what he will do this season, BUT he's had a solid 3 years in the league. Here's his numbers compared to Jewell's for the same time period. I can see the logic of getting a starting MLB for a (at best) WR4. AT, XL and Tmac are certainly our top 3 guys IN 2025. Certainly worth pondering.

Oh, look there! Jalen Coker was a top 5 rookie WR last year according to PFF.

Lloyd aside, what I've learned from this thread is that Coker is the best and most promising receiver on the roster. Alrighty then...

PFF listed LLoyd as a top 15 LB in each past two seasons

Sorry your honor, cokerheads can not stop with the bumps...

No one knows the answer to that question. Maybe he had a family vacation planned, maybe he was sick, maybe he had an outstanding warrant in Minnesota??? Only the team knows, and they ain't sharing. We can't just assume that it means that some sort of sordid drama is going on.

I agree that Lloyd would instantly be our best ILB, but you're making too much out of a missed weekend.

Wow, thanks for answering the question! The other cokeheads are scare or unsure, they don't even know if he will be active or scare to post his projection 2025 stats.

You for sure have a open mind about this, I knew the reason before I posted it. Psssssst but don't tell the other cokeheads, he was nursing a injury is what I heard.

Ill drop this from the list, no biggie!

The answer is that we don't know. I answered that for you pages ago.

The question I have is why are you going to such great lengths to make a complete jackass of yourself?

Jags got BTJ and Hunter.   So you gotta start sliding that scale down to 3, 4, 5 area and competing there.

Coker is cheap and promising.  XL or Tmac could get hurt or struggle.  That's his spot on the roster.  Basically everyone else is competing for slot or spread it out 4 wide type stuff.

Since you are out of bumps, just wait for others to do your thinking like you have for this thread. You cannot answer Cokers questions, I bet if you tired you ended up just like this-

I hadn't seen this, looks like he's back at 100% this week. He's been making plays in camp. He's definitely playing waaaay better than an UDFA.

    • Zavala was really bad his first year but I think he can still flash that unfortunately. Coaching? IDK. Inconvenience seems to be common.  Moton should just have played the year out to see what's what or they should have replaced him, whixh is a tall order for a team with so much else needing done. I just thought the reworked deal was dumb. Get cap but create another issue later. Just eat it and move on. I do think they were trying to create space for someone else but that's also a huge negative for me because the 'one player away mentality' has always been a failure that I can remember. Corbett was a known health issue, a waste of roster space really. BC has had a fractured ankle and a torn bicep so he isn't a huge shocker either, unlucky or injury prone at this point? Add in Moton and that unit was always suspect. Having both high priced OGs dealing with injuries 1 year removed from their big deals just seems like the chefs kiss to that entire build. So 2 known injury issues with starters, a backup that's probably injury prone now, Mays and then nobodies. I don't think I can call that decent depth, especially considering the 2 known starter issues coming into the year.
    • Just imagine how great it will be when they eventually expand the playoff to 24 teams, or more. There will still only be 3 or 4 teams that have a real chance of winning the national championship, but the money-making opportunity will be too irresistible.
    • Trading Hubbard should be a decision made based on the "future" of the team. If they deem Rico a wiser investment, long term, Hubbard is expendable. If they deem Hubbard the wiser investment, long term, Rico is expendable. That doesn't mean they should have a price that is less than acceptable, however.
