Coker is nothing close to Theilen. Come on man. The closest thing the Panthers could get to Adam would have been Matthew Golden.

The Golden/Thielen comp makes no sense whatsoever. Coker is a much cleaner comp to Theilen than Golden is both in terms of physical makeup and playing style. I don't think anyone would come up with Adam Thielen as a comp for Golden.

Cokeheads really think Coker the best WR on the roster or will be in the near future?!?!?!  that needs its on thread!!

AND still besides a brave one, no one will say if he will be active or if he will have 1,000 yards or 200 yards WR. Very odd for the best WR......

Coker would likely compete with Joshua Cephus for WR4. Doesn't seem like a very good transaction for them.

 

Personally, I believe Travis Hunter will only have a package of plays on offense. Just a different era, I do not see him pulling double duty. I believe he's a CB first and 10 play offense weapon at best. That leaves open #2 and #3 WR spot for some serious snaps *OF* which Coker would greatly fit.

It's being implied and some poster did state Coker could be the best WR on the roster. 

It is part of the deal if cokeheads feel that high on him.

All I've seen said is that of our young WRs he's the one who has actually shown the most ability on an NFL field. Now granted, that's a pretty low bar to clear but if you look at his per snap, per target, and per route ran production it's really solid especially for a rookie. I don't think anyone is trying to act like he's our next Moose or that he's going to become what Thielen was on his prime, it's just that he's shown decent potential and could become a core part of our receiver corps. We finally actually have a lot of irons in the fire at receiver and I'm cool with giving them ample opportunity through camp and preseason and letting the cream rise to the top.
