Are we complaining about a made field goal? Who cares how it looked? It cleared the crossbar from 52. Matthew Wright and Eddy Pineiro would've had to punt it from 48 yards to get there.

Upgrading to a guy who barely clears the bar from 52 from guys who barely cleared it from 50 is like being valedictorian of summer school.  We still suck.

For sure,  that’s why I said it’s just in part on BY.   Another part is Canales.  Every O he has been part of hasn’t been about setting up YAC.

heck that one broken down play where BY ended up scrambling for 2?  WTF you running that horrible play in preseason for, for a team that needs to find a grove.  That’s the playcalling and staff not helping the team out in preseason.  Only 2 dudes running routes and they are both deep action to the same spot of the field.  Hate the design of that for this group.

Canalas is green for sure, and everyone pretty much admitted he was hired a few years too early but he is in over his head and his ass is looking to get bounced if he cannot figure it.   If this rah rah poo is causing us to come out with any lack of urgency then he needs to start reading the team the riot act

I've seen guys boom it into the stands (one of them is a fraternity brother of mine). It's worth fewer points to do that. If he's accurate, he should be the kicker.

Lol, YOU brought up the QB. All I said was calling that a “contested” catch was letting the TE off the hook for the obvious drop and you start going on about subpar qb this and all pro db that. Jeez if you’re going to try to take this snooty approach of attacking the person and not the argument you should at least try to avoid such obvious lies. Gee I wonder why this place is such a shitshow with mods like this. “That should have been a catch and the TE dropped it” - “Durr cope cope you not educate me know football”

Yeah, it has nothing to do with losing year after year and having a 3rd year #1 overall pick QB who we swung a massive franchise crippling trade to get and we're still basically just hoping he's not a bust. Yeah, you're right. It's all my fault. LOL

If you need a place that's all sunshine and rainbows while the world burns around you, I think they made a Discord for that.

Props to those of y'all still watching. I turned it off when Davis Mills looked like prime Peyton Manning patiently navigating the pocket before throwing an absolute strike over a crowded middle to convert 4th down. Like...

I wanna stop watching, but I want to see how Horn Jr. does.  But at this point, I don’t think it will amount to much.  This poo is disgusting.

First half summary.

its a failure of Dave Canales.   Simple as that.  -2 yards for your starting O.   We once again head into a season with a starting O that flat out isn’t ready for the season.

Canales should tear his plans up and play these dudes next week

That's the one consolation. WFNZ is always funnier when we suck

Those idiots have been talking playoffs for 2 weeks and especially after the first preseason game.  Those fuging homers cannot quite grasp have shitty the roster is and the overall talent we have.  And that is still them assuming Bryce is a nfl qb, which at this point still is up in the air, and even if he is, hes what top15 at best?

I would about bet on 2 series for the starters Thursday.

I get what you’re saying, but I just think the overriding factor for me is it just feels like we’re constantly spinning our wheels.  If that is what we were looking for, we had Zane Gonzalez.  We create our own problems and then spend years trying to fix them.

    • He has chilled out somewhat but if he posted here it would be all caps.
    • Game predictions All three of our predictors guessed last week that the Panthers would lose to the Miami Dolphins. All were wrong. That moves Fowler to 4-1 on the year, with Kaye and Zietlow each at 1-4. Fowler: Panthers 30, Dallas 27. The Cowboys are known for playing entertaining games this season due to a high-powered offense and low-level defense. I think Carolina pulls the mild upset here, with Bryce Young playing about as well as Dak Prescott and Carolina’s running game providing the difference. Bonus prediction: Tetairoa McMillan scores his first NFL TD. Kaye: Cowboys 33, Panthers 30.  The top offense in the league is likely to come out firing on Sunday, as Dallas looks to get over the .500 hump after five games (including one tie). Will the Panthers be able to keep pace? I actually think they will, for the most part. There’s a lot of boom-or-bust to the Cowboys’ defense, and while the unit is starting to find its footing, I think Bryce Young will still have a good afternoon. Look for Tetairoa McMillan to catch his first touchdown pass in a shootout. But I still think Dallas has a better brand of ball at the moment.   Zietlow: Cowboys 35, Panthers 31.                    I look at the Cowboys’ league-worst third-down percentage as a defense and can’t help but feel some optimism. Tag that with the other opportunities this defense could allow for Bryce Young, and a motivated Rico Dowdle, and a refreshed Xavier Legette ... and there’s excitement, for sure. Still, the Cowboys have gone toe-to-toe with the NFL’s best this season. Their quarterback is electric. Their tight end is prolific. Their defensive secondary is due for one of its patented turnover bonanzas. And to top it all off ... the Panthers will have a “home field advantage” in name only. There will be a lot of Cowboys fans in the crowd. A lot. It just doesn’t add up to a Panthers win to me. I’m rolling with America’s Team.
