Panthers were kinda getting pushed around up front today, especially Hunt who was playing with that bum foot (ominous)

if the center is really worried about coming off the ball fast, sometimes that can lead to inaccurate snaps.

Also, snaps just look a lot worse with Bryce because of how small he is. Not saying Corbett wasn't doing anything wrong, but it's kinda the opposite visual effect of how every snap to Cam looked low. Also, I think Bryce tends to over exaggerate his catches, but that just might be again because of how small he is.

Just to add, by my eyes it seemed BY was not the correct depth. He looked too close or it seemed cobert didn't know how far he was set.

I know one play early cobert was trying to talk to hunt and get set, hunt had his head hung far down and never looked up. He seemed to be in loads of pain and the delay didn't help the pain or meds....

You gotta consider starting Mays next week.

Its hard to do that and keep respect of the team because players "see" who won battles, but IMO, if he snaps even one mother fuging ball that doesnt hit bryce in the hands, dude is gone.  Of the shitty play from this week, he was the "shittiest" play.

I mean, we've all watched "battles" play out where the "winner" doesn't win. Hell, Moehrig basically flat out said that Ransom should be the other starting safety in his preseason sideline interview and still out trots Nick Scott.

Why are we always 2 seasons away?

In my view, Evero needs to be gone.  They averaged something like 6.7 yards per carry vs our DL.  The ILBs were chasing, not plugging.  Nick Scott?  I dunno.  Legette?  What the hell, son?

We need a stud TE.  We need Coker back--we might have 2 DL out.

holy mental disability batman what the hell was Corbett doing all game?  Every snap was high.  He even snapped the ball to thin air during a time out.

He’s not a center. The panthers refuse to draft a center despite many opportunities to do so. This team is garbage and a 12 year old playing madden franchise could do a better job drafting

    • This And with possibly needing to replace Bryce next year and a deep QB class, I do not hate the idea of moving far enough back to pick up another 1st rounder next year out of the deal. I wouldn't have said that a week ago, but I also never expected us to land 3 big FA's at our 3 biggest positions of need like we have, it totally changes things.
    • The OL has certainly been better than the trainwreck it was three or four years ago. As far as competitiveness let's apply some realism and clarity here. Quite a bit of the competitiveness in 2025 came from the defensive side of the ball which gave up the most points in league history the year before and was one of the bottom 5 units in terms of salary cap allocation for 2025 while the OL was top 3. We had the 26th passing offense last year. And if not for a herculean couple of games from Rico Dowdle we don't back our way into the division title or make the playoffs because we went 4-6 in our final ten games including being swept by the Saints who were starting a rookie 2nd round pick most of us mercilessly mocked when they selected him. In conclusion yes we've seen a difference. The question now is will the investment pay off the way we want. But the only way that happens is if we field a top 15 offense. If we can't even crack the top 20 then there need to be some very warm seats across the board. And I would hope just about anyone here should agree with that.
    • These Spurs are lowkey loaded.  If healthy, they could win it all this year (#2 in the West right now). I still think we’ve gotta keep Kalk on Wemby; he’s not getting completely dominated like every other NBA center.
