If I was targeting a running back with my 2nd pick in the draft, I would trade that 2nd rounder for Deangelo Williams. If he was in this draft class this year he'd be a first rounder again. Give me a break. Kid is under 30, has not finished 2.5 years which means more tread on tires (for a non-career threatening injury.) Are you guys mental. Resign this guy, and keep that stable of quality backs... If they want someone give them Goodson. He's small, fumbles and can catch passes. Get a 4th rounder for him, I'd be happy.

If the VBA doesn't get done we can tag him RFA and get something for him.

I'm confused is fox the gm? does he want to give up a second when he prob could get him for a 3rd? Last i checked the broncos second rounder is pretty high..not sure williams is worth that unless they have another second.

I would think the Broncos GM would seek Fox's thoughts on the matter quite a bit in this scenario.

the trade deadline for 2010/2011 Season was October 19th....it's still that season until the March 4th when the NFL year ends as well as the CBA.......so no trading now

What reassurance does Denver have once there is no CBA that Dwill will play there? I guess they could tag him...? Is that what teams are trying to do? We didn't tag him, I thought it was impossible pretty much to get any compensation. I have no idea but it doesn't make sense to me.
