What identity is Canales trying to establish for this team?

Recommended Posts

He's in over his head along with Bryce. Canales reminds me of a middle management yes man at a large corp. Rah rah BS figure head for dipshit tepper. Tepper has turned the panthers into a hedge fund. He makes money while fug8ng over the common man.

I'm waiting for the knives to come out among the coaching staff. Its going to be uncomfortable around the stadium tomorrow.

Never forget.  The survivors of the Reich Game of Thrones all reside at BOA.

That survivor is going to throw his buddy under the bus before the season is over. Its the only way he survives another cleansing by Tepper.

He is trying to build a team that can carry a crap QB because the owner insists that we coddle the crap QB.

PS I don’t know What Tennessee was doing firing Vrabel.
I know that Dave’s (and most of the posters here) obsession with having a shiny modern offensive brain and the finesse offense that generally comes with that preclude interest in hiring Vrabel or any other defensive guy.

Bryce has to be sent away or we will never get rid of him I fear. We will always be in a cycle of bad play, benching, comes back looking better, bad play, benching, etc.

When they make the decision, they need to trade him for whatever they can get, his money is already paid, but don’t give yourself a reason to put him back in or for next coach (If Dave is fired) to try to fix him.

Get him out of here.

The only reason we are in this situation is because Andy had a car wreck and he had a decent showing. He went 3-3 and now we are back where we were last year. Had we gotten rid of him before the deadline we could have paired a new QB with Andy this season that could actually develop

    • Sure, keep him as the starter, but activate Hooker off the practice squad. Couldn't get much worse.
    • the offense is also the one unit that has been bad every single game Not  nearly as bad as the defense. They set a record last year for points allowed last year in case you didn't hear. One unit, has had all of our resources dumped into it the last several years as the expense of having a well built team.  That’s our offense.   Tershawn Wharton, 54 million Tre’Von Moehrig 51 million Patrick Jones II 20 million Bobby Brown III 21 million These were all signed before the season to bolster the defense and the defense gave up 3 rushing TD's and 2 passing TD's yesterday with Drake Maye going 14/18 passing.  And again, ST gave a TD and good field position on punts. Again, I am not defending Bryce's play yesterday. He didn't play nearly good enough but the teams problems go way beyond just him.
    • Prolly thinks that because of the history of 1st round picks let alone #1 overall picks getting multiple opportunities. Bryce will maybe get one more opportunity but it'll likely be a competition type opportunity that im not sure he will win... that is... if he gets that chance. Im not so sure. But who knows. Lots of high ego coaches and GMs with get rich quick schemes that end horribly.
