Asheville’s very own.

Played against him when we was playing QB for AC Reynolds. Been rooting for him since. Such a cool moment

cool you got to play against him. I played against a future NFL RB in high school as a LB and went to meet the guy in the hole for the first time and was on the ground looking up at him going down the field.
I went at him with my regular effort. Wrong.

I redeemed myself after understanding it was a different game and knocked the ball loose in the backfield later on, but man that guy was a load and as fast as the little guys.

Mile Voight UNC was the guy,  we lost a close one on a poo call. He was the best player I played against in 3 years. By far. The other RBs were the typical thin fast as hell guys.

Yeah I rooted for him too.
PS I thought RICO was going to be a good signing, looks like he was a great signing.

Lol I was on JV playing up and I didn’t have a chance at tackling Rico, I was on the field just completely lost and confused at someone moving that fast while running people over

knew he was a hell of a player but I never thought I’d see what I saw today!

    • I’m an optimist thru and thru. I love any win this team can muster, and Bryce did what he could to keep the team in it, but he’s why the team was out of it to begin with.  I like the guy, but he is not… he’s just not it… and I was swayed by the way he finished last season, but his physical limitations will never be overcome. A one arm tackle stopped him in his tracks en route for 6, among several other plays where an even average starter in the league succeeds.  A franchise QB is supposed to be his own cheat code. Bryce needs a cheat code dude, that is not him, to win. Chuba CARRIED (literally) his ass last season. Thielen bailed him out EVERY game he played in last season. Today: Rico turned in one of the best games in franchise history, Tet was unguardable and put up at least 100 yards on his own (PI yards included),  and the defense basically pitched a shutout after going down big so they could beat one of the worst teams in the NFL.
    • Jimmy came thru today I hope he is active next week   (2) NFL on X: "Bryce Young to Jimmy Horn Jr. on 4th down! MIAvsCAR on FOX/FOX One https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt https://t.co/FYOfsxtAMk" / X
    • Rico 10000% saved Bryce Young from being benched for the Dallas game.  The way that game was going there was going to be no way to trot Bryce out next week at home if it kept going like it did.  Bryce probably is safe from bench risk until the next home and home presents itself.    He can’t be playing bad going into that next Atl game and then lay an egg in it.
