Honestly i don’t care who is at QB this season. We’ll complain whether its bryce, andy, or hendon. Just don’t extend bryce. Leave it at this season and search for better.

I want entertaining pass offense and and the illusion we got a punchers chance.  Bryce robs us of that.

we need some random miracle to pull off a win.  Like a Penix implosion or a career game from a RB

Well we aren’t getting the top pick whatever the rest of the year looks like, and we aren’t getting in the playoffs either. So in that sense it doesn’t matter.

People are afraid that if he plays like this and we win a few, they will keep him. I am definitely one of those people.

I don’t think we have a QB on the roster capable of consistently giving that. And im not for sending away draft capital.

We certainly are going to be in the running for the top pick IMO.  Start of the schedule is the easy portion….and BY has been bad in all of them.  Wins came off things that can’t be replicated.

They may keep him another year but I cannot see any way they extend him. His erratic play guarantees he will not be extended. They will bring in competition next year. They don't have a choice.

People always think the top pick is the only way you get a franchise QB. Not true. But we also aren’t great talent evaluators so i get it.

I don’t think we win more than 2 more games. But we’ll see.

Plays like what? Less than 200 yards passing with two terrible turnovers?

The bar is low, you haven’t noticed? The team won with him at QB.

At least two huge Stan’s maybe three got off his nuts last week and are right back on them.

Hell, PJ Walker gives you that.  It doesn’t take draft capital to put some warm bodies with legit NFL tools on a roster.

We intentionally have the QB room we have.  There is no defense to it

lol.  I’ve never been more confident in a Panthers take than the one of Young’s lack of physical tools and the fact he doesn’t fit this scheme (and it can’t function properly with him)

you have 5 straight weeks to open up this season on top of his career telling you that

I dont think hes the answer either, but these posts always saying the same thing and regardless of win/loss, play well/play bad, etc.  It just seems crazy to be the first thing to post after a win.  This thread has been made a million times.

I honestly don’t know what you mean here.

Any time we win, or he plays well (not saying he played well this game, I think he played a bit above average after the first quarter), they go out of their way to make these posts.  Its like they get nervous that fans are going to start thinking Bryce isnt the problem and that will somehow affect what the Panthers do personel wise.

    • Maybe it's because I played LT until some fat fug folded my knee, but I love watching footwork drills at the combine for olinemen. I call it fat man ballet. Base and balance are everything when it come to being a lineman. Everything starts there. Sure there's lateral movement, hip flex, bend, hand fighting, strength, push, etc, but without a strong base and good balance, the rest aren't happening. Those drills are specifically designed to show you things and they stand out big time if you're watching their feet and ankles. You can tell what doesn't feel like a natural movement. I remember watching Greg Little and I was blown away at how bad his footwork was. Like unbelievably bad. To the point I thought maybe he had never practiced one of these drills before. I remember when we drafted him, I thought to myself well fug, there's a wasted pick.  Aside from the added weight, I wonder if that's part of why Bryce didn't throw. Standing next to all the other QBs, that footwork and mechanics would stand out like a sore thumb, much more so than at a pro day. Bryce is good at some things, improvising and eluding and he does appear to have that clutch gene, but his throws get ugly when he tries to arm it instead of having that solid stead base to throw from.
    • He could be 6-9 and he would still suck with the issues he has.

(WGHP) — The Carolina Panthers are preparing to host their first home playoff game in a decade on Saturday and fans of the team are calling for one of the franchise’s legends to return.   Throughout home games in recent seasons, the Carolina Panthers have frequently selected an iconic player from the team’s past to serve as a “Legend of the Game” and bang the Keep Pounding drum as part of the team’s pregame ceremony.     CHARLOTTE, NC – OCTOBER 29: The Carolina Panthers ‘Keep Pounding’ drum is on display prior to game featuring the … Read More Players who served as the “Legend of the Game” in 2025 include Greg Olsen, Mike Rucker, Jordan Gross and Captain Munnerlyn.     CHARLOTTE, NC – DECEMBER 01: Former Carolina Panthers Rod Smart introduced as ” Legend of the Game” during the … Read More Speaking of Munnerlyn, in a recent episode of his “No Cappin With Cap” podcast, he floated the subject of the Panthers selecting Newton to serve as the team’s “Legend of the Game” if they were to make the playoffs.   Newton responded “-1ØVẼ” to the post in his unique style of typing, seemingly expressing his approval of the concept. He also recently shared his emotional reaction to the Panthers returning to playoff contention in a recent segment of his “4th&1” podcast.   Newton returning to Bank of America Stadium as the Panthers host their first playoff game since Newton’s 2015 MVP season would likely generate a raucous reaction from the fans, similar to when Newton returned to Charlotte in 2021
