Tepper still thinks Bryce can grow into another Tom Brady. You can't make this sh#t up. In other words, the remaining Bryce fanboys have as much football acumen as Tepper. You're judged by the company you keep.

If there isn't even incremental progression over the course of this season, much less next season, I am just not sure how you roll with him in year 5. But, $30 mil(est) is not an insignificant amount albeit fairly modest by elite QB price tag standards.

The biggest issue with all this, as someone astutely pointed out in the thread previously, is that we have to make that 5th year decision this coming offseason. 

So if we get the projected season he is on track for(3250 yds passing, 165 yds rushing, 31 total TD's, 22 total TO's). Is that gonna be enough to satisfy everyone he is on the rise? Let's say that we even finish within spitting distance of .500?

Couldn't Tepper just adopt him and pay him a $30m a year stipend if he's that in love with him? He doesn't have to QB his football team surely.

I'm pretty sure Young's contract is almost fully guaranteed. If that's the case I would guess he will be on the roster for his 4th season. Whether he's the starter or not will be up for debate.

To my knowledge that's only been done once.  Daniel Jones.  Generally a decision is made one way or the other.  And if tepper is calling the shots the decision has been made lol

...Oh, now I get it. What you're saying is whether or not he'll be the starter in reference to next year. For a minute I was thinking that you were referencing the fifth year and beyond. You "scared" me for a minute. "Who is this guy?" "What's wrong with Jon Snow?" I can't even consider it going up for debate with what 9 has displayed. 

If we execute the option (which would tell me all I need to know about the current fúcked up iteration of the FO), then that might impede any immediate plan of pivoting.

Despite what Dan and Dave say, I cannot imagine both of them risking their jobs relying on young for the next 2 years.  But if the Tepper's pull rank then we are fuged

I think if you aren't planning on picking up his 5th year option, you move him prior to that date. Otherwise, there isn't much reason to keep him on the roster, IMO.
