This team finally managed to go from bad to mediocre and now you guys want to go back to bad because you want a worse qb that can throw a football further. Makes complete sense.

We're mediocre because of the cast around the QB.  Not because of the QB.  That's why.

LOL the reason the Panthers are winning right now is not because of the Qb it's called RB

& some of u guys have become so accustomed to mediocre QB play that it is almost comical.here u have a Qb that averages less than 185 passing yards per game & that somehow makes the Panthers a better team or maybe u are saying that without his on the field  game managing skills & conservative playy calling the Panthers are not as good ?Who knows either or it makes no sense

Bryce is definitely very TO prone but Winston is pretty wild. 1.62 TO's/GM in his NFL career to Bryce's 1.19.

I am just saying, it can actually get worse. Winston is that worse.

I agree, however, the offseason is the time to deal with this situation.

How much of it is due to Bryce forcing you into a very conservative offensive gameplan though? Their TD:INT ratios are virtually identical. If you have Bryce slinging it around like Jameis you probably end up with similar turnover numbers.

All true. Adding a proven failure at qb only makes it worse. We already have a backup at the position so why pay to make it worse? Just draft another failure in the offseason.

Because there's no reason to completely discard the other 10 games we have left.  Even if we aren't winning anything, we can build on something for next year.  We won't be able to do that with Hendon Hooker after Dalton gets KO'd in 1-2 weeks.

Whether you accept it or not it is what it is. There is not a single thing you or I can do to change who starts for the Carolina Panthers. So why get so upset and lament about who the qb is? I just watch the game and hope by some miracle they win.

I know it sounds crazy but low key I think the Panthers need to go see if they can get the Dolphins to dump Tua and eat his salary. Otherwise Sam Howell is the only other reasonable trade target.

What does Tua offer at this point that Bryce doesn't? Tua looked like the best version of Bryce at his best but at this point the guy needs to retire and protect what non-CTE'd brain cells he has left.

This teams fate was sealed the moment they settled on the final 53 man roster. They decided to go into the season with who they have and it's not going to change barring a major injury. If they do it will not be as a starter unless Andy goes down as well. It was always going to be Young or bust. Only we knew it was going to be bust either way.

Tua has shown more in the NFL than Bryce has. His brain situation lends him to be a backup and he could definitely be a good long term backup if he's not pressed to play every week. Other than being a lefty I can't see the offense changing much with Tua under center considering Bryce has a similar skillset.

I think i get.your intial point ?  & edited the prior post  that the Panthers are not as good with Bryce Youngs game managing skills & conservative play calling..it has nothing really to do with his on the field production / #'s

& yes I disagree that I do not think it makes the Panthers a better team. if anything it is holding this offense & play calling back from being much better than what it really is with Bryce Young at Qb ...just saying

I agree Tua has been better than Bryce.  But when you combine the head injuries and the fact that he has alienated 2 separate coaches?  I'm out.

I agree with this completely. There are throws he just won't make and that is across nearly 40 games.
