BREAKING: Panthers signing a new QB

Recommended Posts

Three years or four ago, I had this guy on a short list of potential panther QBs. it was right after his 400 yard game and I was an NFL fan that caught a couple of his games. Liked his fearless game during that time, he replaced Zack WIlson and the offense went to scoring.

Was a fan and still a fan, BY better watch out......WHite has some of the minshew energy going for him at one point....shame he feel off, but he's still QB young......

I know Hooker has got talked down by Detroit fans and im.not hyping him up but that offense never fit him honestly. We do a bunch of roll outs and boots... a mobile qb in this offense would be deadly  if he could hit the targets. The offense the created around Goff was pretty much for a pocket qb only. I wouldn't rule him out but I'm not crowning him either.  The NFL has proven change of environment  can literally shift the trajectory of a players potential. All that to say, I hope whoever finishes  the season out, balls out.

Brother give him a chance, I ask as a personal favor, please.

Yea I know he was not on any team, but this man was on a magic carpet for a few weeks(years ago).......don't know if he's still able to summon the talent tho.... But he had me as a believer.

Jets Twitter literally would rather have him back over Fields and Taylor as we speak after this news broke lol. When he's on he's super charismatic and hypes up the fans and teammates unlike our current guys.

Well they can snatch him from our practice squad as we speak.

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
