I appreciate the transparency but you're basically telling me you're forced to tailor your offense around your limitations at QB.

Any coach that doesn't tailor thier offence around thier QBs strengths will be fired pretty quickly

What strengths are we referring to specifically?

I mean when you have a guy you can't trust to throw to the middle of the field with confidence for physical and not mental reasons I think that has to go into the equation when you're talking about people losing jobs. If there is someone who  should be losing their job present day in year four it's anyone that had a voice in the process of willfully choosing to limit themselves and cut off their nose to do so. *looks at Dan Morgan*

Did they come out and say they don't trust him over the middle of the field?

I don’t know who this person is and this is speculation on her part, but I have a feeling they will do what she is saying. If they have to keep getting players around Bryce, how good is he? Focusing on offense when we lack so much on defense would be an awful decision by the FO. Not saying offense should be ignored, I’m all for getting better players, but this defense is in dire need of pass rush and LB help before another pass catcher is added.

Regardless of stats or the reason why, our inability or unwillingness to attack the middle of the field is the reason our offense is so stale most of the time (in my opinion). We are so limited in options that it makes us predictable. We are always throwing boundary passes with no real opportunity for YAC.

The coaches don't have to say it. The tape doesn't lie. This has been discussed before.

I am too dull to understand those spreads. But my eyes say this:

When he is in the pocket and steps not just up, but through a gap so that he is alone yet still behind the LOS - he has put both the blockers and the rushers behind him, and he is in the open… that is how he can find someone. And he has made quite a few good plays doing that.  If he stays in the actual pocket, he is very often dealing with obstructed vision. He has made some plays from the pocket but generally they are to the outside or a bit deeper. You just have to watch.
