Yes, quit throwing to someone that cant catch.

it pains me not to poo on bryce but I don't think this is his fault. I just don't think he's actually making multiple reads, he's told where to throw it every play, and sometimes its XL's turn in the pass catching rotation.

Canales favors fresh legs and his precious scheme over using actual good players. XL is a decent blocker, and these passes only work if he's been on the field blocking all game. Conversely, the runs to his side only work if he's a legit threat to catch passes.

Bryce young 4rth down stats

15-20 285 yards 3tds

13 firsts passing

2 first running

Those are incredible stats but obviously not sustainable at all for so many reason

Agreed they are not. The real question is, if he can do it on 4th downs, why isn't he doing it on other downs. Crazy.

Because defenses don't play the same coverage on 4th and short (or late in games on 4th down at all) as they do other down and distances.  He's terrible on 3rd down.

I have noticed that, occasionally, he will not get the ball to the sticks on 3rd. He checks it down.

I just know Bryce can't do the usual going MIA for most of the game then try and turn it on in the 4th quarter. He's going to have to play good ball the entire game. Going to be a very interesting and exciting game for his/our future I do believe.

He did that pretty well last time in that game. Not great The defense had to help but it was better than his normal meh.
We answered scores.

Luckily Stafford was turnover prone that game. Without those turnovers it would have been a blowout.
The Rams offense was moving at will.

Yeah agreed. I am not expecting a repeat of that game. And am not optimistic. Only hopeful. Foolishly, probably.

My bad I didn’t mean the last Rams game particularly, just in general. Going into the 4th quarter with like 97 yards passing and maybe a td usually isn’t a recipe for success in the playoffs. He’s going to have to play good the whole game.

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
