Doubt they win another game

I'm not gonna go that far.

Hate to say it, but this is looking like another one of those years where we'll win just enough games to put us out of position to draft players we could really use 😞

Honestly, I'm not so bad with that. Let the other bottom feeders clear the chum a bit for us. Might keep us from taking the sucker's bait that seems to await the top of the draft order.

Picking around 12-15 might bring things into better and more realistic focuses.

I was shocked we beat the Packers. I thought we might lose out from 4-4. Probably gonna go per usual. We're gonna lose a poo ton of games and be looking at a pretty sweet draft spot in December if we can just close the deal but then we'll win a game or two to even fug that up.

I hope we draft around 6th or 7th, and trade back to late in the 1st and accumulate some more picks. We need a few starters and lots of depth.

I don't want to go in with any plan to trade down. If the right guy is there and the trade offers aren't great take him. I'm always for keeping options open. I never liked Gettleman's shtick of running the pick to the podium immediately either. If the phone is ringing and there's time on the clock listening to the offer is free and you're only limiting your options by not hearing it.

If you buy into the theory that teams can and will load up to stop the run, and that Young is unable to take advantage, you will be delighted to know that other than the Falcons, every opponent we face for the rest of the season is currently in the top half of the league for lowest yards allowed per carry.

Three teams are currently in the top 10 of that list, Saints at 9, Rams at 6, and Seahawks at 3.

It sure looks like Young will have to be a significant factor down the stretch, and that running Rico over and over and over is not going to be the winning play.

It blows my mind that it took nine games for an opponent to figure this out.

Said the same. So did Mike Kaye.

I was expecting that approach from day one, and I know I'm not alone in that thought.

But somehow the eagles will draft a pro bowler. Maybe its not where we pick but who's making the picks?

It is, but it's still nice to be up a little higher when you have needs.

(no, I don't believe in tanking)

Wasn't a fan of Cole Spencer. Now that he's gone I'm hoping Morgan and Tilis make some changes to our draft leadership.

This front office could be gifted the first ten picks in the draft and still would get it wrong.

We've got a QB who can't stretch the field, so we drafted a WR who only stretches the field.  Stupidity. Instead of me (and a few others) screaming for Tyler Warren, who would've helped our inept QB in so many ways, including lining up at QB for gimmick plays that Bryce can't execute.

Until we completely overhaul the front office, it won't matter where we draft.  Good players in bad systems become bad players.

The 25 draft honestly isn't looking bad.

Said above I wasn't a fan of our previous scouting director. Don't know that I'm looking for a complete overhaul, but I would like to see some changes.

I will forever be permanently scarred by the Fitterer "Turn a 1st into 9 7ths!" draft.

Just fuging get a good player if they are available, if the board says most of your guys are off it, trade down to a REASONABLE area with APPROPRIATE compensation to avoid overdrafting someone.
