I tend to think most clearly after games like this, I think because my expectations are grounded.

VS Rams- Loss (Probably won’t be pretty OR it’ll be a weird game where it’s a lot closer than it should be)

@ Saints- Win (We will probably not get swept, and there will be some hope for the division because the Bucs will be dragging)

VS Bucs- Win (Bucs won’t be focused, we win at home in last minute style per usual)

VS Seahawks- Loss (Complete blowout, not focused, like Buffalo, NE, etc)

@ Bucs- Loss (Eliminated from playoffs prior, guys have checked out, injuries, etc)

Finish 8-9

Or Bucs finish 7-10 and still win Division because NFL says fug it, we ain’t putting them in the playoffs

A team winning the division at 7-10 while an NFC North or NFC West team doesn't make it to the playoffs at 10-7 has to happen for no other reason than it would be objectively hilarious.

No I meant us finishing 8-9 and the Bucs finishing 7-10 and the nfl telling us to to fug ourselves lol

But yes I agree.

I think the Saints win another one. Especially after a Rams beat down.

Not sure on the Bucs with them being a divisional game and the health of Baker.

Saints losing to the Falcons killed their momentum. We definitely could lose to them again though. But I think we even it out at 1-1. It’ll probably be 10x closer than it has to be. And one against the Bucs because how the NFCS is

The Saints aren't a good team but they play us hard and know exactly how the Panthers work while being built well agaisnt them. I'm not buying a Panthers win in those circumstances. It's the anti-Falcons type game.

I'm not sure on the Bucs. They are also built to win agaisnt this Panthers team. Even without Baker I wouldn't count on a split yet.

Do the Bucs hold the tiebreaker over us?  What would that be?

These would be the three tie breakers, in order. So the head to head is the biggest and the schedule makers thought 2 of the last 3 against the same team would be fun.

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).

Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.

Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
