Levis has some ability. But such a bonehead. I wouldn’t want to put any trust in what I saw in Tennessee.

One thing, he may have had the big head a little thinking he had more rope than he had and now knows, probably, he blew it.

I wonder if there is any sense of just give me one more chance and I will cut out the stupid stuff and listen. Is it possible he has matured?

Sign anyone that doesn't have the worst metrics for a starting qb in the last...well, ever.

Getting the level of production we have now, doesn’t seem like it would be hard. If we just want a new fugup. Which we need better.
I am ready to start the churn. Trot them out and see if we can find one that sticks.

Do we pick up his 5th?

A lot of that is going to greatly depend on how he finishes. We're about to get the whole picture of him in the next 5 games. If he can stop being in his own head and just freaking compete he MIGHT be ok. Again, we're about to see. Bryce needs to just stop over thinking everything and learn how to want to simply win at all cost.

Im still a sucker younger with potential, so I could look at Levis. How much worse could it be lol.

I would be ok with Levis. He shows a competitive fire when he's out there. That's what's missing with this team.

You're willing to pay him 27m guaranteed 2 years from now based on the next 5 games? I don't even know how you could even entertain that based on what he's done the past 3 years. Even if you don't look at his stats, he has done nothing noticeable to improve his mechanics or footwork. It's the same now as it was in year 1.

I think the stupid stuff is coachable. I also think it is in fact a maturity intangible he could grow out of. Kid has a cannon for an arm and has size and mobility. Of course it's a gamble, but he's only 26. He shows passion when he's on the field and that what you want from your QB1. So if we could get him for the right price I think it's an option worth considering.

I can't disagree with that notion for sure. Yeah, he'd REALLY have to show great improvement. Basically, if we win the division, MAYBE it's worth considering, but you're right, is he worth it in the long run... maybe not.

Even if we win the division, I'd only let Bryce play out his 4th year at best. IMO, he's not done enough to actually fix his issues during his 3 years here. Those things were his to fix outside of team activities, with private coaching, etc. His lack of improvement to his craft is more telling to me than anything he's done on the field.

I agree... the improvements we saw at the end of last year just has not materialized this year. I wondered the same thing. Is Bryce REALLY putting in the work in the off-season and during the season to be the best QB1 he can be? There seems to be a competitive fire that is missing with Bryce. I've been rooting for the kid, I really have. But yeah, there's a point where you just have to be honest about it. In Houston, they're not asking this question, right?
