WR and Edge need to be top priority this offseason.

I really like the Cowboys chances if they get into the playoffs. Jerry Jones really lucked out. Quinnen, Pickens and a 1st rounder while losing Parsons is a hell of a deal

Philly has Brown and Smith. Dallas has Pickens and Lamb. Rams with Adams and Puka. During a time when passing is down in the league having 2 number 1’s is important. Pass catchers and being able to generate QB pressure. We have the complete opposite.

TMac and Scourton are a nice start but they need running mates. Proven running mates if we’re going to compete next year

The QB room isn't a top priority? Well that's interesting.

Without looking can anyone name the receivers Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes to against the Ravens?

Good lord give it a rest or learn ball

You’re not finding another Joe burrow

We don't need "another Joe Burrow" just to field a competent passing attack.

And BTW while you're busy slurping the Cowboys just remember that team and Dak lost to Bryce Young and the Panthers.

I’m all for bringing a QB in but who? The FA list is ass. The draft class isn’t great

I’d take a flier on Trey Lance and if available in 4th someone like Leavitt or Mateer?

I never wanted Dalton back especially at the contract Dan gave him. He’s utterly useless on the field and his cap hit isn’t nothing. He provides nothing.

There’s a lot of bad QB play this year and passing is down. Guys worth trading for are most likely not going to get traded.

As much as many of you don’t want to hear it our best option is to decline the 5th year option. Give Bryce 2026 while we have him under contract. Then in 2027 either sign Bryce (tag would be an option. Don’t repeat the Darnold mistake) or draft another QB and do it all again

EDGE above all other needs, IMO. In theory, the upcoming free agency market is pretty loaded with capable WR guys. Not star players but players that can be instantly impactful.

Hopefully we can address EDGE in the draft.

How does anything improve bringing Bryce back?
You think he can get better? He has had three years and is pretty much below sea level with the annual Falcon bump.

What is there for him to improve, that he has shown he can improve? Something he can control.

What I usually hear is improve the people around him, and if that is the case I say we could do that with a better QB.

😂 I'll just take myself a Joe Burrow and a couple of rookie QBs, please

I agree with you though, we basically can upgrade QB with FAR more options than we could realistically downgrade QB, lol. I'm in favor of drafting one *but not reaching* and bringing in a vet and another developmental guy.

Dillon Gabriel and JJ McCarthy. Somehow they have managed to be worse than Bryce.

The FA WR class doesn’t move me at all. Pierce is going to get paid. He’d be a nice get but not for what I assume he’ll fetch

For me it’s neck and neck. We have a non existent pass rush but we also have 0 pass catchers worth a damn outside of TMac and that includes the tight ends on this roster

They’ll definitely have to draft either an edge or WR then sign/trade for the other

I was sounding the alarm about Dalton earlier in the year when we signed him to an extension. He was horrendous against the Bears and the Commanders and was clearly done. Damn shame folks who were paid to see that couldn't or wouldn't for reasons.

Anywho I agree the upcoming options for QB are not "ideal" but that's the hand we're dealt so we need to evaluate the options and choose the best ones that have the best upside. As far as the draft people have been saying "next year's QB class" for what seems like a long time now. You could be right you could be wrong. We just don't know. That should not however preclude us from shooting our shot. Identify the guy with the necessary measurables and arm talent that checks the most boxes select him and see what happens. That's all we can do.

    • If you're looking for a pat on the back it sounds good in theory until you realize they also had the 2023 Panthers as the top draft class.
    • Going into the 2003 and 2015 seasons we were supposed to be the joke of the league each time. In 2003, John Fox was supposed to still be in rebuild mode. We had a guy named Peppers on the defensive line who was supposed to be pretty good. We had Rodney Peete as our starting QB and a line that was a lot of hope and not much experience. Our new running back was a guy the Redskins, errrr Commanders, had jettisoned for being too old. We had a good kicker and writers thought that was needed because there were going to be more field goals than touch downs. Heck, it looked like they were right up until just before halftime of that first game when we had to yank Rodney Peete and put in some Cajun duded whose name couldn't be pronounced. And Steve Smith? He wasn't Smitty yet. Moose Muhammad, well, he was close to being written off as a bust. You know how that turned out. And then in 2015, we had Cam Newton, who was electrifying to watch but hadn't really won anything yet. There was an offensive line in front of him that looked like it was made in a defunct Swiss cheese factory and our big hope on offense was the great Kelvin Benjamin. And then he got taken out for the year with a knee injury in training camp. Ted "Feet of Lightning, Hands of Stone" Ginn became our default go to guy beside our next best hope, yeah, Devin Funchess. Our defense was pretty good, a scrappy bunch with frikkin' awesome linebacker play and a cornerback who had done more than drank the Kool-Aid, but had snorted the powder. He played like a superhero and became sort of a bat-man during the season. By the Super Bowl he had completely lost his freaking mind, though, and managed to talk his way out of a contract with the team next year. No one was expecting us to win the NFCSouth that season, much less almost go undefeated and into the Super Bowl. So, 2026? Who knows? But our best seasons came when no one had a reason to believe in us, except us.
    • it's not so much this personal vendetta against the Carolina Panthers as it is more about Bryce Young never not once been in the same conversation with the top 15 or even top 20 Qbs in the NFL ..just saying
