Bryce might be my least favorite football player of all time

I'd still never say he's my least favorite player. But man, I can barely watch Panthers games these days and I get so deflated when I realize it isn't one of his decent games we get every 5+ games. But at least the D resurgence has me enjoying seeing DB chuck people across the field.

Fields is actually worse to watch, hence why I consistently don't want anything to do with AR. 

Fields is way worse BECAUSE he has every physical advantage imaginable. That's what makes him infinitely more frustrating.

At some level, it is easier to understand why Bryce sucks. He isn't physically gifted in any way. It's his gross lack of fundamentals and field generalship which is so infuriating.

Well....none of them have appeared to change enough to move on at QB.

In fact, when it basically came down to Bryce versus our last head coach(I do realize it wasn't Bryce himself involved in any of this), Tepper not only swiftly fired Frank Reich but he immediately insulted him at the press conference where he fired him.

You don't get to be a laughingstock accidentally. It takes a lot of hard work and the Tepper Panthers have worked tirelessly to fug this up so badly.

I think Fitterer was ultimately fired over Frank and other mistakes….

all the other Bryce people are still here.  Morgan.  Caldwell.  And both those dudes have more sway than Canales

I don't absolve Canales. He benched Bryce last year but now all of a sudden he can't? Doesn't make sense.

He is as guilty as the rest.

Unfortunately for you, nobody in the organization knows who you are or cares about what you want. He is still gonna be on the team and you’re still gonna be screaming and crying about it

Eh Fields still makes bigger plays with his legs etc... I don't really care why the guy sucks, what he can't put together, etc. fields is a huge disappointment, yeah, but I don't want him on this team so that part doesn't really bother me.

Fields doesn't make enough plays with his legs to accomplish anything significant and he is actually a worse QB at seeing the field than even Bryce.

This is why I say that:

Fields: 153.2 Yds/GM Passing + 49.0 Yds/Gm Rushing = 202.2 Yds/GM Total

1.27 TD's/GM

Career winning %: 0.302

Young: 180.8 Yds/GM Passing + 14.9 Yds/GM Rushing = 195.7 Yds/GM Total

1.17 TD's/GM

Career winning %: 0.308

So if you basically want different Bryce Young, with all the same frustrations and results but with the added bonus of being insanely physically gifted with zero excuses for failing, Fields is your guy.

I understand where OP is coming from in general.

Personally I don't have anything against Bryce the person. By all accounts he's a great guy. As an NFL QB and as the face of the franchise however I must acknowledge he is enough to make someone stop watching football altogether. If we had transitioned directly to him from Cam and Kyle Allen instead of Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold PJ Walker Baker Mayfield etc I would probably feel more apathy toward the situation but I've been through the ringer already so this is whatever.

I will say as nice of a kid as he is his personality is unbelievably milquetoast and it's hard to ignore even when he plays well and wins it just feels like your QB is Steve Urkel and you're always left waiting for the other shoe to drop. It is what it is
