Bryce might be the most frustrating player we've ever had.

Clutch gene? But in 3 years the Panthers haven't had a 3 game winning streak.

These next 4 games will determine if the Panthers carved out a franchise QB for the next decade or sealed their fate as runner-ups in the NFC as they parted ways from the success staring the Panthers in the face in 2022.

For perspective, Kerry Collins (95, 96, 97), Rodney Peete (02), Jake Delhomme (03, 04, 05, 06, 08), Cam Newton (12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18), Kyle Allen (19), Bridgewater (20), Darnold (21) all led the Panthers to at least a 3 game winning streak.

Beuerlein couldn't do it and was replaced by Lewis/Weinke. Delhomme failed to do it one year and was replaced with Clausen.

Bryce hasn't done it for 3 consecutive seasons & he is suppose to be better than all of them?

Standards are way too low for Bryce.

The determination used for Spotrac and OTC are not clear to me. It does seem to heavily be weighted on playing time/starting but as we know that isn't always a determination of market value.

BC I don't know if he will return to us. It depends on his recovery. That was a really bad injury to have for a guy that will be very close to the end of his career. I hope he recovers completely and we get 2-3 more years of excellent backup play from him. He has been quietly one of our most valuable lineman in a long time, despite being a backup.

I am find keeping Corbett at the correct cost and as a backup. He has no business starting at Center anymore. Not to mention he can literally never stay healthy.

I agree on EDGE and QB. Two biggest issues by a wide margin(amongst the PILE of other issues). We have a couple of young guys that look to be capable role player replacements for Jones/Wonnum, but it is time to shoot for the moon and get actual upper tier pass rushers into Carolina again.

Final note, when I am pooh-poohing these reserves that you are falling in love with, it's nothing special I am doing. A bit of "eye test" with a healthy dose of realizing that most backups are backups for a reason. Especially when they have gone through multiple free agent cycles and the league has resoundingly said, "Nah." Not everyone is Freddie Luvu. Most are Christian Rozeboom's.

Who is Freddie Luvvu?

Thank you. I don't understand how the Bryce stans don't see this. I've never seen a player get more hyped for doing so little. Honestly it's driving me a little insane.

On the page it shows sacks given up and playing time among things, Im not familiar with their market value history or how close they are. I just seen it while I was 'arm chairing GMing" and was like "holy lee *** 12.5?!?!?! for Mays?!?!"

Im totally guessing about both christ and Corbett, just think the OL group as whole really enjoys it here with the coaching staff. Everyone came back last year and that never happens.

Yea for me its too easy- edge and QB are the clear want&needs.

I've very guilty of being a "under dog" fan, its one of my biggest weaknesses. I follow the PS and nearly always pick a UDFA to "declare" the next panther ring of honor.... The feel good stories are much rarer since everyone has gotten better at finding talent, but I can not help myself.... Just to add, I am aware of this. I also know the NFL has a 35% turnover and its a true meat grinder. Now I am super happy about Simmons adding to the PS, then I recall watching him avoid contact in many plays....Thats nearly impossible to overcome as a MLB, should have been a kicker.....
