Interesting topic on the upgrade discussion...list all the teams you think would start bryce over their current QB room right now?

Possibles(although not definites):

Jets

Browns

Colts(injury related only)

Vikings

Saints or Falcons is an arguable take but I am very doubtful they would swap their challenging QB situations for ours.

To win a game tomorrow? Or factoring in looking beyond the now.

so if I’m the Jets, I view Tyrod as better than Bryce to win a game tomorrow.  But if you are looking at anything besides that, no reason not to play over Taylor just to see if Bryce looked different away and if you thought you could do what all teams think they can do with other people’s QBs

Tyrod is currently injured, though.

I'd add the possibility of the Raiders. Literally zero chance the Saints would swap Shough for Bryce and if they would I'd leave Bryce in N.O. on Sunday.

I don't think the Raiders actually would. Geno has been bad but we have seen how terrible Bryce is with bad pressure issues.

Bryce would actually be a downgrade in terms of ball security there.

It's possible, though.

I think they would simply because Geno is ass, he's aging and clearly not the long term answer while Bryce is younger so hell why not give it a shot.

Not saying I'd necessarily expect Bryce to be any better in that situation.

I mean, we talking the Panthers current starting QB vs 3rd stringers on horrible teams?  Ok.  Give Bryce the win there.

That's why I wouldn't expect them to make the move. It's, at best, lateral. It probably gets a little more difficult if you consider salary situations.

Yeah, I mean I would think that is the determination at the moment.

If you want to take Tyrod vs. Bryce outside of that scenario, I think it might still be a coin flip. I personally would rather have Tyrod but it is the Jets.

I mean, give me a random team and I need to win a game....give me Tyrod.

He has not showed himself to be TO. Not close. Your baggage, for some reason.

This is tiresome. He doesn’t seem like that bad a kid. We know dad has a huge mouth and ego. I haven’t kept up to see what extent Deion has inserted himself into that situation in Cleveland but it seems like if he were causing trouble we would hear about it.

He was a 5th round pick I think and was embarrassed nationally on draft day and also with the Falcons coach’s son prank calling him, it doesn’t appear that he has had an easy time of it and is getting a chance to play. I’ll judge him on what actually happens moving forward.

Telling a top tier team that wants to draft you in the first round that You don't want to play for them because you don't want to be a backup to their established star quarterback doesn't strike you as dive behavior? 🤔

His attitude issues are well documented. I was a big fan of the situation when he and dad went to Colorado. It was the way the treated people that turned me off from them.

Maybe he's been humbled. Maybe he will be good. He's not coming here so I dont know why it's such an ongoing topic.

Technically, he wasn't in the league when the Ravens called, but for discussion's sake Iet's assume that he was.

The Ravens thing wasn't exactly a negative either. It's all about perspective, empathy and really having an open mind---and an independent mind, not necessarily given into trite, good-boy-bad-boy narratives of an institution that has had problems of varying degrees on its own as a whole.

As for Sanders' abilities during college or three games into his pro career, sure I've seen better, but I've seen a lot worse. In my estimation, he deserves an honest chance just like any kid that's drafted into the league. He may not get it, due to the nature of the beast, but it's not because he's been stinking up the field.

Yeah...No.

When John Elway did it, it was entitled behavior.

When Eli Manning did it, it was entitled behavior.

Those two guys were significantly better quarterbacks than Sanders, and thus way better positioned to act like brats than Sanders was, but that doesn't excuse their actions.

My guess would be either Sanders, or more likely...his dad, thought he was on their level.

The NFL disagreed.

The guy he ultimately ends up bearing a closer resemblance to is Pat White from WVU. White didn't refuse to be drafted by any particular team, but he let it be known in team interviews that he would not play a Kordell Stewart "slash" type role (back when that was popular).

That dropped him on a lot of draft boards, and he wound up being nothing special at the pro level. I've long believed his attitude was part of that. His athletic skills were phenomenal and he was great at the college level, but hIs NFL career is basically a footnote.

Sanders Will likely be more memorable than White was, but probably more so for highlight reels than actual success.
