We had two weeks and that's what we get in return. Then again, it's very much a Carolina Panthers thing to do and disappoint the entire fanbase whenever we have expectations.

Hadn't even thought about that.

I mean, it was a better coaches game theman the last contest against the Saints, but that and three bucks will get you a gallon of gas.

(except in California)

…and they had a bye week

Evero left so much space under the backfield you would think Jerry Rive and Randy Moss were playing   Moore gladly called plays in every bit of space he left

I have no words for nit picking up 6 inches on a 4th and 1

they, players and coaches, are just not clutch

best be spending every draft pick on the lines and find a free agent or two pass rushers and find an aggressive DC

Second one to point that out 😄

And yeah, the playcall on that 4th down was just awful.

I mean yea but no, they didn’t coach a good game but I think we all knew they were losing this one deep down in our panthers fandom historical knowledge. This was not a game they usually win and Vegas having the panthers as the overwhelming moneyline favorite was the icing on the cake to push the saints to a win

I think this game was winnable (hell, we almost did).

The league average PPG currently is 23.1. We held them to 20 points. Defense absolutely deserves blame for that BS gameplan, but they still held an NFL team under the average PPG, it's up to your "franchise" QB to make some plays to win you the game. Shough was able to do it. 163 yards ain't going to get it done majority of the time.

The only point stat that matters is who has more at game's end.

Canales, Evero and company were successfully able to pull off wins against several good teams this season.

It's pretty sad to have to watch us beat teams that have a good chance at being in the Super Bowl this year only to turn around and lose to a team that was eliminated from playoff contention around week four 😖

It’s a real kick in the nuts. Every time you think the coaching staff is finally ‘getting it,’ you realize that they’re not, nor are they any closer than they have been since the beginning.

It makes you question everything about the team. What is real and what is not. I still hold true to my belief that the front office is adding good NFL talent to the roster, but that’s really about the only consistently improving aspect.

One of the elephants in the room: Where is the damn pass rush? If the talent on D is improving, and it most certainly is, why on God’s green earth  is this backsliding? The Panthers have NEVER been this bad at getting to the QB, so what’s the damn problem?

Bryce is who he is. Game manager. JAG who will have a few games where he looks like that guy, but will quickly regress back to the mean. He has the talent around him, but the play caller still has no clue what to do and when to do it.

We see the same BS every other week, and I can say with confidence that it is NOT Tepper this time.

The wins have come in spite of coaching, not because. One of our studs players stepped up and had a DAY. Rico. Brown. Horn. Coker. Think about it. Who were the main ballers in Miami, Dallas, Green Bay and the Rams? Those games were not won on the X and O front. It was ALL individual effort from a few and everyone else just held their own. That’s not to say that the team lacks talent otherwise because it certainly does not. It means that coaching is completely inept in scheming players to be successful. Regardless of how the season finishes, it’s another year of fools gold.

I’m tired of this coaching staff. I’m tired of Bryce. Everyone else can stay.

While I agree, the Saints were also having 10+ minute scoring drives. The Saints pulled our gameplan and limited possessions in the game.

And while the yards looks bad, we really didn't call that many pass plays + Bryce actually made the right decisions for once scrambling/running when there wasn't anybody open. Outside of Coker, it seemed like none of our receivers got open yesterday. It's just annoying that we knew what the Saints would do on defense from the 1st time we played them and still decided to run up the middle against a 9 man box for half the game while still refusing to call any deep passes to make them adjust their defense. We called 2 designed deep pass plays and Bryce went 2/2 for like 70 yards on them...

If Raheem Morris is let go from the Falcons I wouldnt mind getting Jeff Ulbrich as defensive coordinator, Atlanta was about as bad as us at rushing the passer last season, now they have one of the most aggressive pash rushes in the league under Ulbrich in 1 season.

Give me an aggressive defensive play caller any day, if we give up some big plays here and there ill live with that than the death by a thousand cuts Evero defense.

Get the feeling Morris is doomed, so it's a plausible scenario.
