What gets this team past this?

That’s the explanation you’ve landed on for how toothless the offense is? Hmm, interesting.

Partially. Part of it is Canales. I think if there was a McCaffrey, Smith, Olsen, Williams, etc it would change the offense. Bryce is a game manager, not game changer that’s established, but who can make a big play? Nobody. I have yet to see a wideout except maybe once break a tackle and take it to the house. Outside of Miami, I can’t think of a long run that flipped the field.

Look, maybe offer an opinion instead of just trolling. Tyler Shough in the what, 4 games he has started has more 200 yard passing games than Bryce has all season. Is that Bryce? Is it coaching? Is it just lack of overall talent? All of those could be true at the same time. So what exactly was wrong with his take Mr. analytics? Please, do share your other worldly insights. I've been a part of this forum since around 2013, and never have I seen fans of the same team act so nasty towards each other... to what freaking gain???

I'm not X and O smart enough to pinpoint the problem. But, it FEELS like everything we do on offense is a titanic struggle. Then you flip it and watch dudes just catching lasers 15 yards down the middle of the field and they are the only dude on the screen? I just don't understand what I'm watching. I'm not joking when I say it feels like a miracle every time we score. Maybe that's just me being a Panther fan.

It’s why every game is so close or a blowout. Every play is measured so much to not be a negative play. Evero’s defense is based on bending not breaking so they aren’t exploited for a massive play. Why? No bigtime edge rusher or ball hawk.

The offense is the same way, take 10-15 plays to work up the field. Why? Nobody to make the huge 50 yard run after catch or RB to break a tackle and juke half the defense. Or none of these players to earn attention from the defense and free up other guys.

Dan needs to target people that can do this.

Which is so confounding, considering the big time plays they made on 4th down against the Rams. They just cannot do it consistently. Seems like they are more relaxed and tuned in during the games they are not expected to win. Leans towards simply KNOWING you have the ability to do it. Then again, how much is Canales holding them back from it? Again, confounding!

They weren’t expected to win against green bay and looked terrible.

Horn is second in intercpetions.

We desperately need a pash rusher.

You don’t want for things to come down to that. The second fourth down throw agains the rams was luck. That was a duck balance that the db rightly undercut that caught a draft. Whatever rather be lucky than good.

think of everything that went into that first throw. It’s fourth and nothing, you’re running all over them, you’ve converted multiple fourths already, no one expects Bryce to beat them with his arm, he hasn’t done anything all day, the safety is down, the db is tight against a very physical receiver. That’s everything you needed to be going around for that play to happen.

you can’t replicate that, to say nothing about being dependent on it. The saints have good DTs and don’t need to put 8 or 9 in the box to stop the run and one throw notwithstanding Bryce can’t take advantage of it.

The packers put ELEVEN in the box against us on our final drive and Bryce called a timeout!
