Why does Bryce get the blame?

I'm still waiting on something specific from you. Something more than "he played meh". The only thing I ever get from you is cursing a lot and calling me an idiot.

I used to resort to personal insults and cursing as well but then I grew up.

You made the claim that people are blaming him but you are asking me for something specific?  how drunk are you?

Bryce had 165 yards, 62% completions, some bad misses, a bad sack and 15 completions total.  Yes he had about 3 good plays but overall it was a "meh" game.

We know Canales O averaged 225 per game his one year calling plays without Bryce…..and his QB had more 300+ yards game than Bryce has 200+ yard games that season.

I get that. He's also trying to do HC and OC this year which I think is just too much for him. I think it's hard to call plays from the sidelines. That view from up top helps them see what a defense is doing better. A few HCs can do it because they have the QBs and experience to pull it off. DC has neither. I think DC may have spread himself too thin and Bryce isn't the QB to be able to pull of his end of it either. How much they compliment each other in creating this offensive bleh, yet to be determined. Doesn't really matter because it's still awful.

His O is just built on taking repeated shots and that’s not BY’s game.  It was always a round peg and square hole….

But I also agree with your post.  I hate OC HCs.  Especially green ones.   I never liked anything about the setup.  He should have had a real OC.  Focused on learning to be a HC.

This while he didn't single handily LOSE the game on any one play.....

He was a first overall pick, one we paid a fortune for..... the bar for him is a 10 foot dunk not a 5"8 children's rim.

32 for 49 for 287 with 1 td and 1 int in two games vs the worst team in the conference, two critically important games that we would be 9-5 and competing for the #2 if he had led us to victory....

Ive given him props for the TD to tet.... it was the best pass ive ever seen him make.....

But putting up these kind of numbers isn't up to par. Defenses stack the box and dare him to throw....  and he still puts up medicore at best numbers.

To win with Bryce young the entire rest of the team has to be absolutely perfect to make up for his deficiencies.... so while he didn't "lose" this game for us..... HE DEFFINATLY DIDNT GO WIN IT FOR US. (Which is the REALISTIC EXPECTATION)

Bryce’s base level of play he brings to your average game is that of a backup.   Backups can be good for like 1 or 2 throws.  Scramble a lot because they don’t pull the trigger on plays and generate about 175 passing yards.

so while Bryce might not lose it with horrific play…..the entire structure of the blueprint was for him to carry a much larger load than he is capable of.  The bar for Bryce is supposed to be high…..his defenders want the bar rolling on the floor.  Games against the Shoughs of the NFL just highlight how far we lower the bar for Bryce.

and it’s a QB league.  Nothing will ever really matter until we solve that so Bryce will always dominate conversation.

imo bryce doesnt get the blame for the L against the Saints. The L went to the defense knowing dang well not to hit a sliding qb. The defense gave so many free yards to them and gave them first downs. Bryce played well enough to win us the game.

The defense that accounts for 27% of the cap.... and we all know doesn't have an edge rusher.... right.

Because we gave up our future for him, yet everything around him has to be perfect in order for him to have a decent game since he is limited in what he can do which handicaps our coaches and entire team. Stupid question.

Ding ding ding ding for the win.

unless you are Andy Reid, mcvay, or shanny...... just NO, it's too much for the wannabees...

it was bill bielcheats down fall too- he had to be HC, DC(plus play calling), and thee GM.. when you are winning SB, its aaaaaaAAAA-OK....you start losing year after year and some one goes-"yo bill, the game has changed, its too complex and time consuming, pick out a GM and focus on your 16.9 point giving defense"

ego goat bill- "nah, I have to pick players and so what if 90% of my recent draft picks from 3rd string navy/Rutgers, didn't pan out.."

OK so TOP did the Saints not literally have the ball the whole 2nd quarter because of penalties. Majority illegal use of the hands (hands to the face) or holding giving up first down after first downs. Saints literally had a 11+ minute drive.

Yep.  We have invested in this team significantly lopsided.  It should be an O heavy team at this stage even if not consistent.  But it’s an archaic O because of the QB.

An offense that has 73% of the cap and the last five years of first rounders should be expected to score more than 17 points in a critical game vs the worst team in the NFC

Are we discussing investment or the game. Im pretty sure we wouldnt be discussing investment if we had won. Trust me, I didnt like the Bryce pick. I was highly against it. But as for the game. Defense flopped. Bryce game managed like he shouldve and didnt create no turnovers.
