Not sure why this thread doesn't have more responses.  Baker had some fake @ss whiny BS chip on his shoulder because of his time in Carolina.  Looks like that well ran dry. He played like poo when he was here period.

Its not even just that he played bad. This team got him out of Cleveland. He could have been the man here. When it didnt go that way and he asked out, he was let go. They did him a solid twice and he is so bitter about it.

Is this true? I thought they showed a stat in the first quarter where he’s 5-0 against us prior to today. Not the same thing necessarily, but just curious.

This is poor form man. Baker was brought into a bad situation with an absolutely abysmal coach that was only rescued when Steve Wilks came on and took the role of man in the room. 
 

It isn’t Bakers fault, it isn’t Sam’s Fault. Rhule was genuinely one of the worst coaches in NFL history, and Sam had come from the Jets who are picking first yet again and Baker came from the Browns who are picking top 5 yet again. 
 

Both came in, both kept their head down and worked while here despite all of that noise.

Nah, I have nothin but respect and happiness to see Sam Darnold succeeding, I agree they inherited a terrible situation, the difference is that Baker came here entitled and acting like he was too good for "little ole carolina".  He mailed it in and it was obvious every single snap he took.  I remember him just being like "well my balls get batted down cuzz Im short lul" very nonchalant and didnt care.  The reason Wilks didnt give him a shot down the stretch was he made it painfully obvious that he didnt want to be here and he wasnt willing to even try.  Sam worked his ass off and tried, he was never a bad teammate and never acted like he didnt care so nothin but love and support for him but forever fug baker.
