Looks like a weak QB draft and that's their big need going forward. Penix regressed big time after looking promising as a rookie and now has to recover from a third ACL injury. They can't plan on him long-term and Cousins is 37 so that's not long-term either.

This coming draft is light on qb talent so it doesn't hurt them to wait another year. We will probably have a top 10 pick in 2027 so let's hope it's a deep class.

A classic Falcons meltdown feels inevitable. Honestly I kinda hope so. The game between us and the Bucs should decide the division the way the tiebreakers work out. Losing to the Bucs and winning the division by the Falcons beating the Saints in a game neither the Bucs nor us have any control over just doesn't sit right with me.
