Some ALL-22 clips…

1st - stunt took care of our right side and blew up the play.  Simple as that.  Too quick to know what the reads would be IMO.

2nd - OL is not beat as the post claims.  Bryce has the ball out just as Nwosu gets in his face.  Still. not great.

3rd- That pass is out quickly considering the protection - but I'm unsure on who the 1st read was.  Looks like, maybe, Legette & Tmac were going to be the targets on crossers but they slowed once they saw Bryce throw to the flat.  OL protected well.  That is a question for Canales on what was going on there IMO.

All in all, yes, the team played poorly.  This does not need to be Bryce vs. Team.  They can all be bad.

100%

It takes 11 guys and a coach to have an offensive showing like we did yesterday

This is a team issue

Yep, where I'll concede (even though I'm no Bryce fan) is there is maybe a bit heavy Bryce blaming from this game in particular going on considering how strong Seattle's defense is.  A lot has to do with the stakes and it being essentially a playoff game w/the Bucs losing.

Seattle took care of our offense, simple as that.  It's all completely fair to highlight.

Their front-7 doesn't have any 1 truly lethal guy but what the clips show is how well they play off each-other.  You can see in the all-22 stuff how relentless they are and can change direction.  Murphy, Lawrence, Nwosu, the secondary clamps down, understands correct spacing in zone.  They're elite.

And MacDonald is easily my fave young coach right now.

Canales is hitting a wall.  Even though the season has had some surprises, this was his low.

as has been discussed for YEARS at this point, what Bryce does and doesn't do with the ball.....influences defensive coverage and makes life way harder on the O to be able to function.   We all know where he will and won't go with the ball......and defenders know that.  Life is relatively easy for a D.  And this was a good D tackling the blueprint on us.

Dude on twitter is just cherry picking the most obvious examples and given his role on twitter in regards to Bryce, he is going to skip over all the ones that go against his narrative on Bryce.

What Dave did figure out, is when defenses don't know what Bryce will do......they can make an occasional play and you see that on shortage scenarios.  But it takes a lot of work to scheme up throws for Bryce and to fool a D.....and our WRs are always open or at the least NFL open then.

and dude you are pointing folks to is clearly in damage control.  Isn't his entire thing on twitter at this point, being pro Bryce Young?

This ^.

O-line lost battles all day. Could not generate a ground game. QB was fairly accurate when he could throw but almost all throws were behind the line or short, either due to play calls or receivers just not getting open.

The Seahawks were completely better than us on the day. Offense, defense and special teams. I've got to say they are a very complete team and they're going to be monsters in the playoffs.

Canales back to mismanaging Rico/Hubbard.  Rico just needed the ball.  It wasn't that we couldn't.

Dave's playcalling does stink.  At least in terms of feel.  No doubt about that.  I doubt Rico ever had two back to back runs that entire game.  I get his way he wants to win given what we are....but he often gets lost in what that actually is supposed to be.

This a good one. Also Chuba wanted/needed that ball like 5 steps before BY finally gave it to him so he could actually turn up field before the defender could close in.

Yeah the white you see on the highlighted player in the middle is a Seattle DB absolutely clamping tmac 😂😂

But you also have to factor how many audibles he made against simulated pressures.  They played with Bryce's head a bit with their defense.

And there's a balance of checks where Bryce didn't have time, and yeah, essentially sending it off in the flat made sense.  But there's others where it was way too quick of dump as seen in one of the clips.  It's a mix.

They had our entire offense's number yesterday

What happened here? Tet has nearly 3 yards on the DB.  For reference, the ball is at the top of the field at the refs right leg just passing the 40.  So the DB had time to close 3 yards in the balls final 9 yards of flight.  What does that mean? That ball did not have much zip on it.

Let me go ahead and post the pocket shot before the "he didn't have enough time" excuse pops up.

It was a like a 12-13 yard pass to the boundary and the DB had plenty of time to track it.

Yeah I thought circling that T-mac match up didn't make any sense in the tweet either but that should have either gone to Tremble or Chuba way earlier than BY made a decision.
