Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panthers History

I get that. But let’s not conflate the two. I can say Bryce Young is a garbage ass quarterback while simultaneously acknowledging he is also hampered by a garbage ass head coach. If I go into a cage fight right now with you as my trainer, people can say man I never stood a chance I am garbage while also acknowledging my shitty trainer DHP02 didn’t do me any favors. I don’t know if I’m articulating that properly but I hope you get what I’m saying.

I get what you're saying. That's why I thought Dalton was such a horrible signing. We needed a QB2 like Jameis, Brissett, Howell. DC needed just much evaluation on his offense as Bryce did as a QB. DC's play calling still looks like ass, but you can’t tell if it's DC or Bryce or a combo because there was no real QB2 to run it the one week Bryce was out.

Wtf are you even talking about. Bowles didn't rely on Baker. He relied on his running game because they were chewing us up. Baker made some key throws under pressure to avoid sacks and didn't screw up the finish. It was obvious what the game plan was with our limp dick offense. Chew up the game clock because we can't put points on the board in chunks.

I was being sarcastic, dude. There are mentally deficient people in this thread blaming Bryce for all their problems when he’s not very good, but he was far from the biggest issue on a night out backs had 1 ypc.

I had to reply to BigKat earlier. Sorry I missed the sarcasm.

Bryce Young: As of late 2025, discussions and statistics have placed Young's early career record among the worst in NFL history for quarterbacks with at least 30 starts (tied for third-worst record since 1950)

Also, the players and coaches didn’t matter. This game was rigged regardless of who was at QB.

Refs made it so we only had 19 rush yards on the day?

Refs made Canales call a flea flicker in the redzone that apparently is too secret to explain how that would even work given we have potentially another game? They made Bryce throw a pick for points before the half?   The refs prevented us from converting a single 3rd down until the final minutes?

good players and teams overcome the refs every single Sunday.

When the announcers are counting biased calls in favor of the Bucs, it’s rigged.

It’s Groundhog Day, I feel like we have this discussion every week. It’s who Bryce is. Decent today, but will be horrendous down the line. It will never change, we are done with year three and he’s still like this. The bad part is, he’s getting the fifth year so we may as well get used to this.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
