Cam Newton had close to 4K yards and 30 TDs on a very efficient offense.

these two things are nothing alike in terms of 2025 and 2013.  Which is why the guy at the top was a Pro Bowler in 2013

No way, dude. They are basically the same player through three seasons. I will show you:

I think 25 pages of Bryce on this one thread, not including the other 99+ pages of other Bryce threads, can lead one to conclude that he clearly has not made the case he belongs in the NFL.

Perhaps PFF can come up with another subjective stat to quantify this.  "QB page views per message forum" or some other poo where Bryce is the best in the NFL.

Our receiving corps is not one of the best in the league. Is this a joke?  Offensive line is overrated. No one can stay healthy and they haven’t been good at run blocking for several weeks.

How is it not?  Going into the season virtually every pundit and everyone on this board agreed this was an absolutely stacked receiver room.  Did they all become garbage overnight?  We have the tallest receivers in the league on average.  The QB simply cannot distribute the ball to them because he lacks the size, football IQ, accuracy, and arm strength to do so.

You're not clear on the basic point that he is now a 4 year starter and we need to stop treating him like he's still a rookie?

Cool won't quote you any further enjoy your day.

I don't think you read the entire conversation that had taken place before you commented here.  You're agreeing with me.  You should probably delete this.

I think his point is, Bryce has a comical long leash/opportunity given what he has shown in the NFL.  And when you look elsewhere, most other QBs that operated in a similar neighborhood had the audition ended by now.    Bryce's opportunity and chances have been greater than the norm (especially, when you zero in on the present day NFL and stay out of prior eras)

I am assuming you're agreeing with me.  If you read the comment I was replying to the point I was making is that Bryce is possibly the worst "long term" QB a team has ever had.  Most other garbage QBs have been canned long before they were allowed to drag a franchise down this badly.

Never said he was top 5, he’s certainly not overrated. You keep telling me when guys got drafted like that matters. For one, two of the first round OL you refer have been hurt most of the year. His other lineman have been banged up and he’s been running for his life back there in the pocket and still playing well. His rb in round 1 missed most of this year. As you are aware, guys get drafted high and disappoint, Bryce young is a perfect example.

On the graph, don’t pay attn to our OTs on there (pretty good btw) pay attn to Herbert’s.

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
