Who played or coached their last game as a Panther tonight.

In his 2nd year, Seahawks’ Mike McDonald has his team sitting atop the NFC at 13-3. Meanwhile, we’re struggling to win consistently in Canales’ 2nd season and need help to back into the playoffs.

Why can’t we ever have nice things? 🤦🏾‍♂️

Nobody.  Because unfortunately this is considered successful around here.  Bryce Stan’s will thump their chest about wins and Canales supporters will say he’s progressing and Evero supporters will say the defense improved.

All of them are wrong and should be launched into the Sun, but they won’t be.

Everyone will return and next year won’t even match this year.  Congrats, we are in purgatory.

You are not wrong. Its still hard for me to believe the people in charge have witnessed this season and come away not thinking changes must be made.

Only one person in charge is making the major decisions and he knows nothing about running a football team.

It’s bigger than that.  They actually know how things are decided in this league (Vegas) so having the better team doesn’t really matter.  Tepper and Co still get that sweet sweet revenue share so who gives af?

True. Tepper makes money either way. He better start working on the league to sell his little qb story. Maybe he can get them to help get his team in the playoffs somehow.

lol, I’m now convinced he is a league plant.  A shitty owner in a small market to keep them from beating the larger markets.

Tepper has no designs on ever winning here while making money hand over fist.

With his ego he needs to find an angle to work in the league like old Jerry. He needs to become a personality that gets us benefits if we are going to sell it as entertainment. Gives us something at least.

Rumors on X is that Idzik may go somewhere to get a full time OC role because Dave won’t give up play calling. Maybe him, definitely Evero. I can’t imagine Dan being who he is, likes this defense.

I think Rico, Corbett, XL, are all gone. Probably Nick Scott as well since he’s Evero’s version of Colin Jones.

I think Rico will try to sign a contract here, but Chuba's deal would create a situation at RB concerning the cap.  XL will be back because it makes no financial sense to cut him.   For some reason, the like Corbett (Man of the year) and I am not sure how it works with voidable years--I think he would send $4m to the dead cap pool.  Nick Scott should be gone.

to me, it is important that we re-sign Mays.  Coker is an ERFA but he has shown me enough to give him a long term deal and start him in the slot.

Bryce will be back.  He has had growth and there are QBs who took years to see the light.  I am not confident in his physical abilities to ever be more that mediocre, but they will give him a fifth year to convince him.

On defense, I do not see them bringing back A. Robinson, Wonnum, in addition to Scott.

This is how i feel.  On defense, I would let Wonnum, Scott, and A Robinson walk.  On offense: Corbett.

We should go after (draft/free agency) a WR, ILB, Edge, and maybe a stud TE.  Yes, we could use other players, but the biggest bang for the buck would be upgrades at these spots.

And we need a developmental QB in the draft.

I would caution folks about overkill.  QB is a huge decision and they need a plan B.  We need an edge. we need an ILB.  We need a #2 WR.

Otherwise, our guards (overpaid) are locked up for the next two or three years.  We need Mays and competition at C.  Tackle?  We will be solid there next season.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
