I think some of you, don’t realize how bad Fitterer fuged this place up. poo roster, no money, no picks. He’s done a lot with little to work with. It takes time to fix what one of the worst GMs ever did 

He made them average by making them the highest paid position groups in the nfl.  You cant fix everything that way.

There is a tax you have to pay when you’re 2-15, have had multiple head coaches, and haven’t made the playoffs in years. Was he supposed to get a pro bowler on a discount? Or spend 4 draft picks on the OL? I’m confused how you all approach this.

He wasnt a pff guy that I know of, he came from the chiefs.  You are thinking of Eric Eager I believe, who also plays a huge role and I wouldn't want him leaving.

Sure, but how much credit can you give someone for "fixing" something when he just threw money at the biggest free agents at those positions?  I want to see some position groups get fixed from the draft or by small free agent signings before im ready to crown him.  I think a lot of people give Dan a pass on all the bad because the player he was.

his first pure draft as GM - 2024 featured tremendous ideas such as trading up to draft XL and the class as a whole looks meh. 

if people don't give credit to Hurney for taking super safe picks in the top 10, how much credit does Dan get for being able to eyeball the safest WR to pick w/ his top 10 pick.  Now he did hit on his 2nd and 3rd round picks but that's basically his claim to fame. 

the most important room in the building is on him....the QB room.  His brilliant moves are backing up Bryce with a washed Dalton and only being able to find Jack Plummer for preseason ball 2 years in a row.

That 2024 draft seemed like a continuation of Fiterererer.... He has to kill it this year for me to take him seriously.

that's my Morgan issue.  I think he is a continuation of Fitterer.   So much of the "change" was really just punishing Fitterer for whatever and letting his team keep it keeping on IMO.
