Pavia is basically significantly less talented and much smaller Sam Darnold. He has even less QB experience than Darnold had.

He is likely a long term developmental prospect and not really someone that could be relied on to be a quality #2 QB. He would be great as a #3 or PS QB to develop.

The swagger tho

There is no potential path for Chambliss to be a 1st round pick. He is a mid-round guy, at best.

I think a lot of fans are overlooking how completely terrible he was against Miami because Miami dropped all those gift wrapped INTs. He could've very easily gotten picked 4 or 5 times that game leading to an absolute blowout but evidently all the Miami defenders have bricks for hands. The NFL is gonna evaluate that game tape and see interceptions galore. We're not talking about "oh, that could've been picked" balls. We're talking about "how dafuq did that not get picked???" balls.

He has a ton of talent but he is another long term developmental guy. The idea that he is a first rounder is ludicrous.

Now, we have seen crazier QB picks so it COULD happen but the team making that choice should get roasted for the decision.

We have none of these talents in our current QB room

He certainly is dominant physically. I doubt he is a match for Canales’ preferred play style. But if we took a day 3 flier I promise not to complain if he does nothing.
Just keep taking those shots.

He's got all the tools, and a nice touch on medium passes where he doesn't need to smoke it. Canales is supposed to be the QB whisperer and this seems like all you can really ask for as someone to mold

Yeah. And a good coach should be able to adapt to his players’ strengths and hide their weaknesses.

I feel like Canales wants to run more pocket and PA and the old school offensive style. Or rather, that is where his strength is.

And you might think about trying to compliment a coach’s style when you acquire players. OTOH he should be able to grow and adapt as well. The guy looks good in those college games though.

Just feels like Allar is the type of guy we'd target, but after watching one Youtube highlight video of the Arkansas guy.....I miss that type of QB dynamism.

I dont recall ever watching him play but after the highlight vids and his scouting report he seems like he is oozing with potential.  Rocket arm that is deadly on deep throws but not very good short/intermediate.  Seems like that could improve with scheme and coaching.  fug it get him in the 4rth

I really liked allar going into this year but man he was upside down most of the year.  It was a dysfunctional team for sure but he just didnt look good at all during the season.  I still like his skill set though

    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
    • oh now that's what you call Mother Fiuggure fans the ones that always have this fierce protective shield around the team no matter if they win or lose  & to be honest there is nothing really wrong with being a Mother Fiugguer fan they just have a different meaning or sense of what a true fan really is                                                 ☺️
