Gabbart and Mallet clearly the top two QB's

Wow, the way the ball comes out of Mallets hands and his accuracy on the deep ball is outstanding. An NFL scout said his accuracy has really improved. Sharpe and mayock are saying 'perfect throws' on his drills.

If Gabbart's pro day looks good throwing wise I am thinking its a toss up right now. If this kid can get clear attitude wise with the GM's/Coaches in the meetings it is gonna be a tough decision.

I think Locker helped himself to day and I am really liking Kaepernick.

I really want to trade down for more picks, but these guys are going to make it hard to not take one of them at #1 esp if Gabbarts pro day goes well and the way Mallett is throwing

Mallet- All the tools in the world, but by all accounts is a ticking time bomb.

Gabbert- Average college QB that is for some unknown reason being way over hyped.

Locker- Had a good junior season, but proved is was all a fluke this year. One workout in shorts isn't going to override all the horrible tape he put out this last year.

Newton- Has every measurable you could hope for. Had a great year at Auburn, his only year, but played in a very basic spread offense. Only questions are if he can transition to the NFL and some stolen goods 3 years ago.

If the coaching staff thinks they can work with Cam, he's got to be the pick.

    • People really need to stop placing Dan Morgan on some kind of infallible pedestal. He is absolutely in lockstop with Tepper regarding Bryce and has been all along. As far as the team being okay with 185 passing yards per game. We better have a proven monster RB in our backfield then. Presently that guy is not on the roster. Chuba has one outlier season so far and the other guys have proven nothing. Not what you would call a great recipe. The only thing we can hope at this juncture is that the highest paid OL in the league for the second year in a row elevates their play from last season and opens up some massive holes even our RB's can get through. But it still doesn't resolve the issue of predictability. With no viable passing game it is much easier to shut down any run game. No defenses are scared of Bryce's arm. It is what it is.
    • i lived in Atlanta from 84'to 92' & back then it was indeed a very different time without the internet & access to information 24/7. shortly after i moved back home to western NC around 93' or 94' the Carolina Panthers were awarded an NfL franchise & began their inaugural season in 95' so ike you i have seen the Carolina Panthers, ,the NFL ,technology, fans all evolve over the many a moon & years now some for the better & others not so ...just saying
    • I wouldn't even bet on us winning the NFC South. All four teams had excellent Drafts.
