If it's there, yes, but don't force it.  I'm liking Lomu out of Utah, but his stock keeps rising and I fear he's going to climb up boards beyond #19.

Monroe Freeling is another that’s going to have his stock rise at tackle. Only 16 career starts, a lot less tape than some of the others, but that also means not a finished product.

I would think hard about going OT, OT to start the draft. It gives you two shots at landing someone that can start right away which we desperately need. If somehow we hit on both, then you just solved our impending RT problem.

Hmmm. Im a big OL guy so this is tempting. I think we are sticking with Moton for two more years though so if we take a second then id go in the third or fourth for a second. Would be a shock move though and long term I wouldnt hate it.

I wonder if Vega Ioane out of Penn State would be a good fit for us...

He is an OG and with all the money we have tied on the interior I doubt we invest there early. With that said Vega is going to start and play in the league for the next decade, dude is just a textbook lineman.

Truth is what we do in free agency will entirely dictate what we actually end up doing. If we resign Yosh and Brady I think it’s pretty unlikely we go OT rd1 but it’s also dependent on if any stud defensive players are on the board. If Muiouga fell to 19 I think Morgan would be quite tempted.

If the Super Bowl showed anything it showed that the game is won in the trenches for sure. Both O-line just struggled with good front four defenses. We were on the cusp of having a seriously good o-line, but now... there's too much in the air.

I'm not sure if there's a great OT available when we get to pick. 19 is farther back in the pack than we've chosen in a long time. If the guy isn't there, though, flip the narrative and grab the best Edge rusher available.

I think if you go OT it has to be someone who is proven to play on the left. At pick 20 you might have Lomu or Proctor there. Lomu has great feet, will he handle the power of the NFL? Proctor has the power, does he have the agility to stay at tackle?

Take the great feet…

I see the logic, but I want a guy who starts and contributes huge minutes out of the gate. Edges seem to often take longest to mature given they go up against such badasses in the starting OTs. I think we should get an experienced rush edge to pair with ****** and let Princely develop as a backup until he catches on. At our pick I don't see day one type guys. Maybe Mesidor, but hes 25. Doubt Dan takes a guy thats already older like that. Maybe a better pick for a team already making a super bowl run.

Same with LB, if we somehow magically end up with Styles then all day. But after Reese, Styles, and CJ Allen is there a day one starter? I like Golday in the second but think if you get him you still need a seasoned starter since we need multiple LBs that lets Golday ease in slowly. Maybe you take Anthony Hill Jr. there in the first. Great physical profile and just take your lumps as he learns beside a vet.
