Yeah the premier job part was pretty funny.
But they have that number one pick and it is going to QB.

IMO they are gonna follow the script, most likely, and go offensive guy to groom and develop the QB

There is no chance Brady doesn't pick an offensive guy. He forced the Chip Kelly thing on the Raiders.

They will make a disaster hire and Mendoza will get ruined there.

That is my thinking of. Never know, but I would be really surprised if they went defense.

Maybe he should hire his old pal from New England?!🤣 Give him another shot! 💀

Maybe he will be better this time! It wouldn't be the 1st time the Raiders have gone back and hired a previous coach again. Not even the 2nd time!

Raiders are probably waiting on coaches currently in the playoffs

i see no way, drafting Mendoza, and with tom brady as co owner,  that they would bring a mediocre defensive coordinator in as HC

no way

I think it was Eisen last week that brought up an idea of reaching out to Cignetti to see if he would be interested in the job, since he would be assured of having Mendoza.

I can't imagine he would be though.

I don't think anyone is upset about continuity but one does wonder how much losing we will have to endure to see if that is a winning combo.

You also have to wonder if that timeline will eventually be matched with a Bryce contract extension.

That is nightmare fuel.

I mean everyone knows how I feel about Bryce... He's getting an extension and I wouldn't be surprised if it's this off-season and like 5 years 240-250m total with 48-50m per and another 35-40m in incentives.
