Adam Schefter: Panthers getting trade calls for Andy Dalton

Tough day for the "nothing will ever change Morgan is a moron" crowd.  Morgan sees what we see.  Dalton is out, a higher quality vet will be signed and a development rookie drafted late or UDFA in April.  Stuck with Bryce for 2 seasons, unless 1 of the TBD vet or rookie stands out and Bryce is "hurt" before then.

Franchise QB swing in 28.

I'm thinking he will get traded before he plays his 5th season. His replacement comes from the 2027 draft.

Yeah that could happen. "Maximum 2 more seasons of Bryce" would have been a better way for me to put it

Certainly that's relevant but are you really going to pretend like he didn't have to change his whole throwing motion to try and take the next step as a passer? And he's worse now than he was before. His air yards per attempt were 6.21 the lowest in his career. And we have a fourth year QB whose air yards per attempt was 6.23 last season. The fact that anyone is even mentioning the words contract extension is literal madness.
