Will the run game be good enough now?

So here we sit with two healthy backs and one unknown. With Rico gone and a lousy draft for backs, options are a FA signing or a less than stellar rookie pick. Without a strong running game for Young to fall back on, he will regress.

Ideas?

Not if we don’t figure out this abomination of an OL out.

LG: Lewis is good

C Fortner is better at pass pro

RG: Hunt is good but coming off injury

RT: Moton is no spring chicken

Right now there is Zero tackle depth. And our backup guards are Zavala and Saahdiq Charles.

Yeah I expect a drafting or a signing. Personally hoping for a hoss that can reliably get that yard or two when everyone knows he is gonna get the ball.  We could have used that for years now.

They are playing with fire sticking to the pre Icky injury strategy. It was a great plan until he went down.
