Team maybe checked out to on the coach.. I had Arizona winning it all..

Yeah, coach feathered a mighty fine nest for himself with that bag and all that control but you gotta think all that distraction weighed on the team and their preparation.

Didn’t really follow Arizona too much but they were dominating the rankings.. I mean you don’t think the team would lose on purpose like that..they looked like a a Hubert Davis prepared team..I was pulling for Arizona before the Lloyd to UNC was a thing

The contract UNC offered Lloyd would have put him between Hurley and Self, somewhere in the 8.3-8.5m range... After last night, I'm not sure he's worth that... Lol

Start the mental gymnastics. Offering top money to the top guys and they still say no

Nah, he's worth it. One game doesn't change that. He probably shouldn't have been such a distraction this week for his team but he'll get a championship one day soon

I’m wondering how much the Belichick disaster is impacting all this.

Could see a scenario where coaches are saying “they threw a bag at football and it flopped, why would hoops improve”.

Seriously, at this point, I’d go get the High Point coach and have him bring his three best players (all hoopers) and be happy with finishing 3rd or 4th in the ACC next year. Duke and Virginia have to tier coaches and recruiting in place.

Pretty sad when Carolina is a distant 3rd, but that is where we are currently.

I was making a joke, making fun of Arizona fans who are saying he isn't worth the 7.5m that Arizona gave him and wondering if UNC still wants him. Lol

The tier 1 list is now down to only Donovan, expect to hear something this week about if he takes the job or not. They could move on to Byington fast depending on what Donovan says to the school.

Id rather have him than donovan

I don’t know enough about Malone to hate this yet so I will give it time

I wanted him to take over the hornets next year. He's a hard ass and I don't know if that works with 18 year olds that are getting paid. He's a good coach though

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
