Emanuel McNeil Warren + Jacob Rodriguez

Recommended Posts

Given the draft makeup after the top-10 or so, I feel many teams are going to be hoping for trade downs. Which makes downward movement a bit more tricky.  So they may just go for the best impact they see fit and surprise.

I mean, we can use someone at all levels of our defense (ILB, DE, S and Slot). The offense needs more OL bodies and could use another WR.  In no way we can be zeroed in on a particular position.

Makes me damn curious to our board and how they’re weighing immediate vs long term impact.  I still see multiple guys rather than positions in play.

S: Thieneman, McNeil-Warren

ILB: Rodriguez, Allen

DL: Faulk, McDonald

WR/TE: Saddiq, Cooper, Boston, Conception

OL: Freeling, Proctor, Lomu, Iheanachor

Heck, even the EDGE group in our range is interesting like Parker.

Then there’s these guys that are in that 19/51 fringe range that seem to be really good fits-Haulcy, J Rod, Golday, etc.

These arguments and  justification for pre deciding  WR just dont make any logical sense. If one slips then ok. Not my preference but so be it. We wont know whats best until the actual draft unfolds.

Csx you're smart enough to overlook the roster and see slot or alpha starter TE as weak points. I don't want WR either, but I see the names Moore, horn as the "hope" of filling that slot role. Plus I showed you Cokers injury history and his off-season in benj fatty camp. You can make a case that offense does need a weapon, even chubba does not scare defenses. You know its about scoring TDs and preventing them, Shaq, lemon, cooper would put more pressure on the other teams D in stopping them.

There's not a DT worth the 19 and roster wise, there's not many holes...then if you are using the value smarts during the draft, do not use a 1st on C, NT, or S(unless Ed Reed clone).

Ive said many many, if I had GM and felt good about keeping my job for the next couple years...Im taking a line man, preference LT, DE, edge, RT, or DT. Id say the same dang thing for 2nd, add in LB, CB, and this would be my window in adding a WR or TE....they'd have to special and falling, but I prefer waiting until the 3rd. Id even pull a old gettlegut and double up like he did with star and kk....Id draft 2 OT with the first 2 picks... same about DL...
