So you think Sadiq and KC are top shelf?

That is what you took from that? Seems like you want to argue with someone, or me specifically

1st round talent according to the rest of the world. Don’t want either, but apparently in this year’s version they are considered top shelf. 1st round being the shelf in question.

It isn’t just this year either. T Mac was definitely top shelf. And they drafted XL in the first.

I just don't understand how lazy these guys are. It's easy just to follow what some guy picked early on and they keep it up. We have not even met with him. I don't have anything against Sadiq, but we have several other immediate needs. I know it's not sexy pick but OL and DL should be in play.

You don’t really draft players on sex appeal, you draft available talent relative to needs, positional value, depth of position, and overall cost of acquiring players elsewhere.

OT and DT don’t have a lot of names that are highly sought after, skill positions are expensive high value positions that are deep in this particular class, thus the interest.

Fans mostly argue the sex appeal. Pros are supposed to be above falling into this trap, but they often do.

Every WR he's ever played with had their last best season with him. Many had their best seasons ever with him. Just saying.

Thst’s a hell of a claim. Thielen? Really?

Johnson?

Also, four of the current roster have oly ever played with him. so I guess you are safe with them.

Meant to say Moore, not Johnson. And he has not done what ou claimed with Bryce, look up his career stats.

Ditto Thielen.

"last best season", meaning they didn't go somewhere else after here and do better. Old man Moore and older man Thielen probably wouldn't have played much on many more rosters at that point in their careers.

I  want to enjoy the night

…and hope they pick someone who makes them better, has no injury issues, no history with courts and bad behavior

if it is first rd play maker, offense or defense, i want a 3 down player, not a gadget

it is christmas in April.  I dont want this  main pick  in rd  1 to be socks and underwear  …plenty of time for utilitarian

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
