Incarcerated Bob says a lot of things though. Take with a grain of salt

*NFL NEWS**Source: Dolphins have made Cam Newton priority #1 at draft – Dolphins know he will not slide down so they are willing 2trade up

We’ve mentioned him before, but Incarcerated Bob is right much more than he is wrong. He has quite a few sources and he is usually ahead of the mainstream media. If the source is not associated with the Dolphins, could they really be looking to bring in Newton? Could it be a team the Dolphins spoke with about trading up?

Personally I think it is malarkey but thought I would post it anyway. Get the creative juices flowing.

Smokescreen?? :willy_nilly: :willy_nilly: :willy_nilly:

Where does Mia pick?

#15. And he didn't say us he just said they want to move way up tp try and get Cam.

BUT if our smokescreen :willy_nilly: works then we could convince him that they have to trade with us to get him.

Just saying.

Incarcerated Bob I guess got some credibility with some contract negotiation.

Honestly I don't know but some people give him some credibility.

I take him as the National Enquirer of NFL rumor mongers. He is right just enough and is ahead of the media just enough where you can't completely ignore him, but take it very lightly.

Just my opinion.

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
