ok not sure if this is the official Jimmy Clausen Twitter account but anyways. He says this.

Hangin out with my boy @WiserThenU!!! Just got back from Europe and telling stories...we will be making a trip soon with the boys!!!

its nearly april and hes getting ready to go on a trip? Does this indicate that a new CBA is a long time away, a knock against clausens worth ethics. I dunno if I know the team was looking to replace me in the draft I would be studying playbooks and doing offseason work outs etc to try and become the player they want. Your Thoughts?

Yes, Clausen is the only NFL player that isn't training in some way. While he just got back from Europe and is planning something with friends, every other player is training their ass off, waiting by the phone for the call to come back to the stadium, going over old game film on their DVDs, looking at last year's playbook, and running scrimmages with friends.

What does that have to do with anything? If the guy wants to head to Europe during the offseason, ANY part of the offseason... who cares?

Jeez, IDK maybe having one of the lowest QB rating, and your team has the #1 pick which could possibly replace you?

understood, but there is off season condition etc. He needs to put in alot of work if he wants to be the starting qb. This thread was just questioning whether since hes not currently focused on improving, that he already knows what carolina has in store for him in the future.

      Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.

      if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
