Gabbert = Dilfer

But is he accurate when he throws said receiver? That's the real question

It's not how far you can throw the receiver, because some of the greats can't throw receivers very far at all, but when you throw the receiver to the other receiver, does the other receiver have a chance at making a play on said receiver?

Honestly it won't matter. With Cam's strength, he can carry his receivers all the way. I mean, he did it in college!

Therefore, Newton > Gabbert because Gabbert's weakness/flaw is far greater than the sum total of Cam's.

Cam has incredible accuracy and all who deny it are haters.

<10 games to crucify Clausen and <15 college games to declare Newton the messiah. You guys are good.

We sure are. Best part about being us? If next year Clausen looks good, we've supported him all along. If Newton looks bad, we knew he was a bust from day one.

This is the Huddle. We always knew what was real was real. It was what it was and it is what it is.

More importantly, how does the bus fit into this?

a) both benefit being drafted top 10 in weak QB draft.

b) same size and mobility

b) both lack long ball ability

c) both have a name that can be used with a new meaning. You really dilfered that up , you dumb gabbert.

Case = Rested

That is a really weak attempt at a comparison.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
